hi I got mine from here in the service manual bit, you get a service manual which includes schematic from this site: http://www.download.nitd.co.uk/news.php you will have to register with them before you can download it, but this is free. Plus you will probably you will have to download another free program to (shareware) to decompress and read the rar. files I used the one for xpwindows: http://downloads.zdnet.com/download.aspx...

If your set is the same main board as mine it will be under the L01.1E section but as yours is 32 inch it might be a L04E board which is a different model number to what your gave!! I think yours is the same as mine thou a L01.1E. Mine kept going into standby when your switch it on, and changing the capacitor at ref 2455 on the main board fixed it The cap is a 47uf 25v but i am told a 30v is ok as long as you get the 47uf. It is on page42 at ref b/5 I got the BC337-25 npn transistors as well at ref 7463 and 7461 but was told ernie on another forum that i only needed to change the cap, and he was spot on.

Had the ps3 working fine, plugged it into another tv and nothing, the tv wont pick up the signal.. went to plug it back into the 1st tv and still nothing

Try resetting the display back to standard definition -

Turn the PS3 off into standby (red light on)
Press and hold the power button. It will beep when you first press it, then beep again 5 seconds later. Let go of the power button when you hear this second beep

Wait for the PS3 display to reset

Hope this helps

We have a Philips 4 BDS4231R/00 and it does not start. We can here the relay sound and if we turn it on and off say 7 - 10 times it works fine. Could anybody tell me how this can be fixed. Please

Hey John, I am experiencing a very similar problem. If I unplug the TV when it is on (green light) and plug it back in. It begins green, and clicks to red. I immediately turn the TV back on with the remote. Most of the time it seems to struggle for several seconds, sometimes with a little scratchy audio popping in and out. It will then go from green to red on the TV and if I try to turn it back on it will go green for a few seconds and back to red but without any click coming from the TV. No matter how many times I try after that, no TV. If, on the other hand, I unplug while green, plug it back in and with the remote turn it back on after it has come up green and then clicked to red, it will come on. It might take thee or five times but at least it comes on... If you hear of a real solution, please let me know ([email protected]) in the meantime, best of luck.

Find and replace the following caps, Ec18, 19, 20 / 1000uf/16v,
Ec9, 10 / 1000uf/35v, Ec14, 25 / 470uf/35v should resolve the problem. You can get the caps at almost any electronics supply.
This is a common problem in this unit.

AKAI 32" LCD HDTV WILL NOT TURN ON

The only solution at this point would be to get the power supply repair since new boards are not longer being manufactured. In about 95% of the time if the LCD doesn't power up or turns OFF by itself or need to be unplug for some time to make work again; those are the symptoms of a dying or defective power supply.
I service these power supplies, for more info write to [email protected]

I can't get my tv to turn on... nothing but blinking red light

Dont know if this will work for you or not, but my brother gave me his because of the same problem. It would power up and a green light would come on, then after 10 -15 seconds it would change to a red blinking light. I plugged a usb cable into the service port on the side and left the other end unplugged. Then plugged the tv back into the power. i took a small screwdriver and ran across the contacts in the end of the usb cable until both the red light and the green lights came on. I did this several times listening fot the clicking noises in the TV. after doing this for approx 20 seconds, i pressed the power button and the TV worked fine. 5 days now and no problems. Only thing I can think is I somehow reset the software and now it is working fine. Hope some of you can figure this out and give it a try. if the TV is just sitting, you have nothing to lose

Solution is simple....

First, unplug power cable from the back of your TV. You will notice the flashing light is still flashing. Don't worry, go to the Second step.

Second, keep pressing on the POWER button, located on the panel at the top of your TV, to shut off your TV. This will stop the flashing light from appearing.

Third, Plug the power cable back onto your TV

Fourth, press the POWER botton ONCE, using the same button used in the Second step to turn your TV back on.

Fifth, you will see the POWER light comes on, as normal.

Sixth, using your remote control, press the green button to turn on. Your TV should work as normal.
