Not knowing which model you have, here are the instructions for my model. Perhaps yours is the same.

For example, if you set the ASO for 40 minutes and 25 minutes have already elapsed, the Grind & Brewâ„¢ will shut off automatically after 15 minutes (40 minutes minus the 25 elapsed equals 15 minutes)."
Mine doesn't have a specific clean cycle, but to decalcify the unit, add 1/2 vinegar to 2/3 water in a full cafree and run it through. If it's really calcified, turn off about 1/2 way through and let it set for an hour. Then turn it on and finish, Remember to run a pot of clean water through the wash out the vinegar taste.
It might be that you need to replace the battery because to my knowledge some cars are equipped with an automatic fuel shutoff but not an automatic shutoff. My advice to you would be to take your battery to be tested by autozone or advanced auto parts or a store like these. They can test your battery for free.
I think that standards require an auto-shutoff on electric pots to keep the component from softening down. You could override the shutoff by either taping over the switch or utilizing an elastic band. You can check deep details on electric kettle review sites.

Setting Auto Off (units with timer only)
On models with a glass carafe, the auto off can be set to shut the coffee machine off from 1 - 5
hours after the brew cycle is complete. The factory setting is 2 hours. On models with a thermal
carafe, the coffee machine shuts off after 20 minutes.
Note : On models without a timer the coffee machine must be turned off manually. It
will not automatically shut off.
• Press the prog button (o), immediately followed by the h/min button (n).
• The display will show the time setting.
• Press the h/min button in steps to set the auto off time.
• Press the prog button to confirm the setting.
When the cycle is finished, the coffeemaker will beep 5 times, indicating that the coffee is ready. The unit will turn off automatically.
The insulated carafe keeps the coffee warm for four hours. The aroma of the coffee is preserved thanks to the hermatic cover. It is not necessary to remove the cover to pour coffee.
