Are you sure you are putting the proper ram in? don't mix and match speed and size. If you can put it back the way it was and get it to start again, go to www.crucial.com and run the scanner. It will tell you exactly what you need.

you may have a bad ram slot, try another slot on the motherboard. or try a different ram card

How do I fing toshiba A60 equium password

Hi,
pull the battery out and leave it out for a few minutes and then put it back in - if you can reach the bios then reset optimum settings - if there is a windows password then reformatting will get rid of that one.

My Toshiba Equium laptop won't just turn on. When I press the power button it blinks for a few seconds and then turn off.

Is the power plug plugged in. Make sure its plugged in, and leave it in for 2 hrs and then try and power on.

If you need more help just post.

Hi,

Windows XP Driver for Equium A60:

Windows 2000 Driver for Equium A60:

Generally all Toshiba drivers you will find on this website:

PS: You should use the Toshiba graphic drivers because these drivers are especially designed for notebook usage.

Upgrade the processor on a Toshiba equium l40 series from a celron M

The core2 duo chips will be a different socket to your celeron cpu so can do that unfortunately. You may be able to upgrade to a faster cpu of the same socket type but will probably need a bios update for it to run at proper speed.

Unfortunately laptops arent really designed to be upgraded at all bar extra ram/hd/dvdrw.

Hope that helps?

No sound devices found

This is a link to the download site for Toshiba drivers. Select the model of your laptop and click Go to retrieve a list of available drivers. Before doing this, however, you need to be certain of the model number of your laptop. Equium is the make of toshiba desktop computers and A60 is the model number for a Toshiba Satellite laptop. Look on the bottom of your laptop for a label that will have the exact model number you need then select that on the website.
