Turn the unit off and then disconnect the negative from the back and turn th unit back on that way the inverter will use all the charge kept inside.
Reconnect the negative and start the unit ...I did that to my unit and for fun I asked tech support for help they told me that I need to buy ne one...After I reset my unit I been using now since for over 2 years...sometime it come back one every few months if I have high voltage coming and I redo this again and it works...save your money

2002 4 ton Bryant air conditioner shuts off, fan still runs but not cooling is problem in the controls in the attic or in the AC unit or both?

With a non heat pump it is a simple 24 volt AC control circuit. In the attic there is a relay that is actuated via the fan control wire directly from the thermostat. On the thermostat there is an auto/man switch that controls the fan. Manual the fan runs all the time. Auto fan turns on and off with the outside compressor.

If the system is not calling for cool and the fan continues to run the fan relay is sticking. common problem. Sometimes after running for several days the relay will stop sticking if not, replace relay.

If the system is calling for cool and the compressor stops I would still expect the fan to run until thermostat tells the A/C to off. Some compressor units include a safety switch or high-pressure cut-out switch A blocked internal valve bad control board or external fan in outside unit defective no air flow in outside unit.
High pressure cut out not good,

Suggest turning temp max cool and observe. If acceptable cool and the compressor runs without interruption all is good, except for the blower in the attic. Safely check relay in attic blower circuit.

Hope this helps.

Condenser Fan Shuts off after 15-20min, Compressor continues to run but gets hot

Condenser fan motor or motor wiring is bad. That compressor should never run without the fan. Good luck.

Cooling fan runs continuously, even after shutting the ignition off

sounds like it could be a relay.

With everything plugged in and the fans running with the key off remove the cooling fan 1 fuse. Do they stop?

If they do not stop remove the cooling fan 2 fuse. Do they stop?

I have reno megane 04 my fan continues running when my car is not running i have had the air presureit has just happened again sensor replaced bu

Many cooling systems are designed to let the cooling fan continue to run even after shutting down the engine...however, this should only last for a minute or so...your owners manual may help. If the fan never stops when turned off this is probably a faulty resistor...may need a good mechanic to confirm which...Hope this helps.

Cooling fan continues to run after engine shut off.

The fan runs for a short time, after ignition off, to continue to cool the hot engine.

2000 durango cooling system fan running non-stop

Many engine control system faults can cause the radiator cooling fan to come on and run non-stop. Also, if your A/C is on or if you have your heating and cooling controls in DEFROST mode, this can cause the radiator cooling fan to come on (normal operation). Or there could be a cooling fan circuit malfunction (like a stuck relay) causing this to happen.

Check to see what mode your climate controls are in. If the climate controls are not in A/C or DEFROST modes, then you should have your engine control system properly diagnosed to determine the cause of the radiator fan being on continuously.

Also, if the Check Engine light is on, this is a clue that the engine control system is malfunctioning.

The fridge keeps switching on and off non stop. running it off a inverter (eva power) plugged in to 240v. i have also cleaned the fan and radiator of dust

Are you in the United States? If you are, then you are running your fridge on international power settings. United States standard for voltages is 120V, you are running at TWICE that. This is EXTREMELY unsafe and quite harmful to the fridge. Please switch your inverter to 120V.

The fan at the back of my inverter is running continuously, can you please let me know what might be the problem and how to fix it

If you have it pushed against someting or have too many things around it, it may not be getting enough air to keep cool. That will cause fan to keep running to keep inverter cool.

Shut engine off cooling fans run non stop 2005 dodge carav

More than likely your cooling fan relay is stuck in the closed position, under the hood there should be a box with several relays, on the inside cover it will have a diagram, pull out the relay for the cooling fan and it should shut off. good-luck ! here is a picture of a 97 relay, but they should all be the same.
