After a power failure / electricity tripping my JVC Lt-39N510 LED TV has no power. The display light does not come on. I switch off the power button on the side, take out the plug. After two days, I plug back in an put on the power and the TV works. Anyone know how to fix this? Seems to be some sort of timer involved as it is exactly 2 days later that the TV works again.

You most definately have bad capacitors in the power supply. try and get it repaired as soon as possible, not an expensive repair that iv'e seen.

Had the same issue, I replaced two 1200uf caps on the power supply board and now it works fine again. Remember to replace the caps with caps rated for at least 35wvdc.

1. Hold [menu] and [vol-] button on the side of the TV
2. while holding these, press the [power] button on the side of TV (NOT remote)
3. blue light comes ON and stays ON
4. wait 10 seconds then let go of [menu] and [vol-]
5. wait another 30 seconds and some type of picture should appear

I think this is right. I got it from the JVC call centers guys so sorry if I missed or messed up a step.

the software in the main control is damaged. call your lg servicer in your area. he might get you a software update
