Take off the needle plate. There is a bracket near the front right area of the bobbin case. It is the position bracket that supports the case. First smooth the case of any rough edges, the put it in place and loosen the screw of the position bracket and align it in an area that will keep the case from spinning. There should be about 0.5mm of distance available when you use your finger and push the case from left to right, between the case and the bracket. Remember that the thread flows through this area, the case is held in place by the bracket but not tightly.

You will need to clean the feed teeth and hook assembly area. Turn off and unplug your machine and then remove the presser foot, needle and needle plate. Use the lint brush that came with the machine to scrub out the feed teeth and hook assembly area.

My bobbin in my Singer sewing machine 4522 case will not click back in. It is a Singer model 4522. It had been stored and unused for a while. I oiled it up and bought new Singer clear plastic bobbins.

Did you get Class 66 bobbins? See https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/singer-4522-sewing-machine-parts.aspx?index=19 . Singer sewing machines use a variety of different bobbins.

I hope this helps.

(I have an older Singer Touch N' Sew. Those bobbins are easy to spot. Newer machines can use Class 15, Class 15J or Class 66 bobbins, https://www.singer.com/sewing-resources/complete-bobbin-guide . Some machines can only use either the plastic or metal bobbins of a particular size. Others can use either metal or plastic bobbins.)

My Huskystar 219 won't sew. After getting it threaded, the only thing that moves is the bobbin winder, the silver piece on top off the machine. Is there a switch to turn this off?

Try moving the bobbin winder spindle to the left, as you face the front of the sewing machine. The most likely issue is that you have this spindle in the bobbin winding position. If the spindle is fully to the left, there is something wrong with the interlock mechanism inside the case. (It's more common for the unit to fail when the bobbin winder spindle is moved to the right.)

See page 13 of the manual which is currently available here: https://www.libble.eu/husqvarna-huskystar-219/online-manual-549617/ . This is page 15 in this online document.

I hope this helps.

Using a size 14 needle for sewing thick Pendleton wool blankets. When sewing one layer my Huskystar 219/224 worked perfectly.

Likely you need a thread lubricant so the thread will slide easier through the dense wool fabric when the hook pulls it over the bobbin and the take up arm pulls back.

New 66 bobbin will not fit 500A machine

I believe that all Class 66 bobbins are the same, and your machine takes that bobbin. Check where you purchased the bobbin; you can also purchase Class 66 bobbins on eBay.

I have a model 5062 and need more bobbins.

The Class 66 bobbin is the correct bobbin. The Singer part number, 172336, is specific to the 10 pack of their bobbins. This site, http://www.sewingpartsonline.com/bobbins-singer-apollo-class-66-172336.aspx , gives more details on the sewing machines that use the bobbin.

I hope this helps.

No info in the book for Huskystsr 219-224 for oiling it--HOW DOES ONE LUBRICATE IT??

Not sure if you want to oil the hook and bobbin area or the whole machine.
The hook and bobbin area is eazy, just put a drop of oil in the Hook. To do this just put a drop just under the bobbin Do this ever 2-3 bobbins and just one drop, not two.
To do the whole machine you will need to remove the panels and lubricate all metal on metal moving parts, but that is usaly done buy a sewing machine teck.
