  1. Unplug the dishwasher, usually under the sink.
  2. Turn off the supply faucet to the dishwasher, also under the sink.
  3. Disconnect the dishwasher supply hoses and the drain hose which usually empties into the garbage disposal. Have a small bucket or pan and some towels ready, the water in the hoses will leak out.
  4. Open the dishwasher door. There should be 3 or more screws holding the dishwasher to the cabinet. Remove these screws and re-close the dishwasher door.
  5. Grab the dishwasher door handle and gently pull the dishwasher outwards, lifting slightly and moving side-to-side as space allows.
  6. If it is unable to move due to the trim plate at the front of the base of the dishwasher, remove that too. Otherwise, just leave the trim in place.
  7. Gradually continue to pull the dishwasher outwards, and push/pull the hoses and power cord out along with it.

How to remove door to an integrated dishwasher

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that you want to remove the door to your integrated dishwasher, model# ESL6114. This appears to be a UK Electrolux dishwasher. I suggest contacting the manufacturer directly. They will be able to better assist you in removing your dishwasher door.

How to pull out dishwasher

Are you asking how to remove an under-counter dishwasher to fix or replace? The best bet would check your manual. If not available, first thing you must do is shut off power to the dishwasher. Usually there is a breaker labeled dishwasher in your breaker/fuse panel. Next, turn off the water to the dishwasher. There should be a valve under the kitchen sink with a hose that leads to the dishwasher. Once that is shut off, you need to remove the lower panel (closest to the floorl, underneath the door) from the dishwasher. You will now be able to access the water and electrical connections. Once you remove them, you're almost ready to pull the dishwasher out. Now you must remove the 2 screws that hold the dishwasher to the underside of the counter. Look up just above the door and you should see two brackets sticking out under the counter. Remove the screws and you should be able to gently pull the dishwasher out from under the counter.

I have 5E showing on my dishwasher. What is does this error mean?

ost common error codes that are caused by installation errors are:
  • 5E. If your dishwasher is displaying error code 5E, It can be caused by a kinked drain hose. A good indication that the drain hose is kinked is excessive water in the bottom of your dishwasher after a cycle has been completed. If your dishwasher is displaying error code 5E, your dishwasher will have to be removed to inspect the drain hose for kinks. If your dishwasher was professionally installed, contact the installer to remove the dishwasher and inspect the drain hose. If you installed the dishwasher your self, the dishwasher will have to be removed for drain hose inspection.
