Question about Jura Capresso Impressa S9 Coffee Maker/Espresso Machine
When I power on my S9, it states FILL SYSTEM straight away.
I have pressed the STEAM button but does not pump like normal and no water is drawing. I have removed filter and also ensured water is flowing from tank and not blocked.
I pulled machine apart and there was a lot of heat from the water boiler as no water is going through to cool it.
Before this happened, I run 3 cups of coffee but stopped it prior allowing coffee to RUN through system (this was to clear some old beans)
Any ideas? Does it sound like the water pump is dead as it isnt pumping?
Also, can I force into programming mode to try and RESET the machine?
Try using the "shipping" unit button to shut everything off. Turn off the unit and then tryo to run it again.

I think the magnetic valve is defective. This is located on the left side (seen from behind inside the machine) and there`s connections between the thermoblock and the hot water outlet. Try to press the steambutton and check if the magnetic valve clicks, and maybe check with a voltmeter if it`s receiving power.
PS. During steamprocessing the pump just have small ticking sound, and not the same sound as during brewing. There is no way around this Fill system message, and the reset function is not activated until any System Messages has been clared.
