Question about Hifonics Car Audio & Video
I am trying to figure out how the sound card goes in. I hooked up with the sound card in the amp and it did not work.
SOURCE: no sound in my Hifonics Brutus BXi 1206D amp
Have you confirmed that you have a good signal feeding the amp?
Have you confirmed that the speakers are in good working order and don't have any breaks in the wiring?

You CANNOT run two subs into a bridge. i have been doing it for a while and wondering why my amps kept blowing. bridging can only be one sub to two channels. i dont know why it wont work even if it is 2 ohms... say your amp is 2 ohm stable. but i went to a store and asked they said don't run two subs into a bridged amp

Sounds like your amp has some power supply compents shorted out. Maybe some of the power mosfets are shorted and your only getting a little bit of power. That why only the H is lighting and as far as the green light, it don't take much for it to turn on. If it was major it would go into protect mode but it is'nt. I repair amps for a living and I'm the cheapest you'll find. But if you know about electronics and think you can take a crack at it, check it out. Becareful you could do more damage. Let me know if your interested. [email protected]

Try switching around one of the pos/neg speaker wires (you may have one crossed and they are firing out of phase, meaning when one pushes out the other pushes in and vise versa causing the base signals to cancel each other out) while the system is playing, only switch one speaker, not both. You can normally look at the subs and tell if they are moving very good and not much bass is there, you could also have the wrong box for them, this will also give a similar result
