I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO PUT A NEW FAN BELT ON MY DRYER. I OPENED THE BACK AND FOUND THE BELT BROKE. IT IS THE ORANGE FAN BELT. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME.I DO NOT HAVE MONEY ON SS TO PAY FOR THE SERVICE TO FIX. WILL DO MYSELF IF CAN GET ADVICE.THANKS!!!
Why don't you answer my question about my Haier hlp140e about the bolt to remove after the nut gets on unscrewed? My friend came over with his whole ratchet tool box none of them would work because there is a round plastic piece over the nut in the nut is in the back of this plastic piece that you can't get to. The plastic piece is to hold the lint catcher on. Now what?
Did you ever get that bolt off? I am calling Haier to see if I have to buy something from them to get it off.
I used a ratchet on mine. 10mm went in thru the center of the lint catcher

Remove the lint trap. There is a bolt in the center. Remove bolt. Remove screws from crossbar and you can then replace the belt. I removed sensor and lifted drum out makes it easier. Pay attention to how black belt is thread if removed
What size is that bolt. Like the person above I am trying to get the bolt off and can't find a ratchet attachment that fits that bolt to get it off. I have tried a 7/16th, a 10 and a 9. Nothing fits it. Do you have to buy the ratchet from haier to get this bolt off?
