Remove your battery from the laptop. Flip the switch underneath the laptop and the battery should pull right out with no tools required.

Slide the flathead screwdriver underneath the keyboard securing strip at the top of the keyboard. Pull up ever so slightly, and it should pop off.

Remove the three screws securing the keyboard to the laptop. The metal brace holding down the laptop will also come up.

Flip the keyboard over onto the palm mouse. You will see your laptop connected to one more set of screws; remove them.

Disconnect the cable holding in the laptop. The keyboard will now be completely free of the laptop.

Replace or clean your keyboard, and reverse the previous steps to reattach a keyboard.
