How to disable RPC Protocol from Comman Line

Use regedit at your own risk!

Use regedit to set
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RpcSs\Start=0x3
and reboot. Now, RPC protocol is set to start manually.

If you want to completely disable it, set 'Start=0x4' in above. Hope this helps.

Enable the Registry Editor, Task Manager and Folder Options Disabled by Viru

Virus attack is common these days and we often come across the problems like Disabled Folder Options or like Task Manager and Regedit disabled by Administrator. These problems are nothing but virus activities. The virus has infected our system and stopping us from accessing these options.
23f407e.jpg
Pressing keys Ctrl+Alt+Del opens up a dialog saying that “Task Manager has been disabled by your Administrator” whereas you are the Administrator yourself. It becomes very annoying when you think that you can fix this problem by going into the Registry Editor but it doesn’t show up. Even the Folder Options gets disabled.
This problem is generally caused by a virus named “Brontok” but don’t worry just use RRT (Remove Restrictions Tool) that can easily solve this problem. RRT is free and can successfully enable:
1. Folder Options
2. Regedit (Registry Editor)
3. Task Manager
4. Show Hidden Files option
The tool will come more useful if you use it in Safe Mode.
Download RRT

Cannot add user in win 7 via cmd. System error 234

In order to make it work, you will need to open super administrator option following steps below:

Right click on CMD / Command Prompt , choose "Run as Administrator" on popup box click on "Continue".
Now type in Net user administrator /active:yes and press Enter.

It will show you "The command completed successfully".

Now try adding new user. Once you are done, please disable administrator option again following same as before, just little change in command as below:

Net user administrator /active:no

That's all. I hope you can do it.

I have the BSOD problem - msconfig admin privileges

msconfig is just a nice GUI to the keys in registry, what you may have is a driver or disk problem.
run chkdsk C: /F (or /P if in repair console)
instead of running msconfig, run services.msc and disable everything that doesn't belong to microsoft.
with another computer, download Autoruns.zip
copy it to the troubled machine and run it via the command line.
It's a very nice utility, msconfig on steroids :)

Taskmanager disabled by your administrator

Click on start then run
Type gpedit.msc then ok
Click + on administrative templates
Click + on system
Click on CTRL ALT DEL options
over to the right double click on remove task manager
Click on disabled then apply then ok
You will now have back taskmanager
This is normaly caused by malware you should if you havent already run an anti malware scan.
Malware Bytes is an excelent example of a scanner and is located here: www.malwarebytes.org get the free trial version its great.

In my pc only regedit not working but other commands are working in run pls help

You need to be on an administrator account to run regedit.

Other than that, it could be that regedit has been disabled either by a Policy or by something nasty (e.g. a virus).

Try this:

http://www.dougknox.com/security/scripts/regtools.vbs

Save the file, then run it.

Restart your computer.

Try running Regedit.
