Power button doesn't work

I've checked the manual but could finf if your on/off knob is by a pcb tiny on off knob or do you really year a hard click. http://www.vinylengine.com/library/numark/tt1510.shtml login and they know it, it's easy to make

TRY a hard reset on the Nook if that doesn't work i know of this fantastic site BNTPrice.com that sells them for cheap. i hope this works for you

1. Press the "n" button to display the quick nav bar.
   

2. In the quick nav bar, tap the Settings icon.
   

3. In the Device Settings section, tap Device Info.
   

4. Tap Erase & Deregister Device.
   

5. Stop. Think. Think again.
   

6. If you really, really want to do this, go to Step 7. If not, tap the Back button.
   

7. Tap the Erase & Deregister Device button.
   

Follow the instructions step by step

1. Turn off printer, cable power still plug in,
2. Press Stop/Reset button don't release
3. Press Power Button don't release and than release Stop/Reset button
4. Press Stop/Reset button 2X , wait until service mode to " 0 "
5. Turn off printer, cable power still plug in
6. Press Stop/Reset button don't release
7. Press Power Button don't release and than release Stop/Reset button
8. Press Stop/Reset button 4X , wait until service mode to " 1 "
9. Turn off printer, and loose cable power, wait one minute.
10. Connect cable power, turn on printer again, now this printer ready to use.

Try pressing the power button for several seconds (10-15). It should power off the laptop.
If not, unplug the charger and remove the battery for a few minutes. Then try to start it up again.

It must be hard for you having this issue. Here, do these steps correctly, it will help you fix this issue.

1. Turn off printer
2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.
4. Press Resume button twice then let BOTH buttons go.
5. Green lights will flash and then stop blinking.
6. When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times.
7. Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not,
press the Power button once more.
8. Your printer should work normally.

Turn off printer. 2. retaining button Stop/Reset (red triangle in the circle) press button POWER - indicator it will light up with green color. 3. let go button Stop/Reset, continuing to hold POWER. 4. press button Stop/Reset 2 times, while holding POWER button, after which you will let go all buttons. 5. when indicator is lit BY Solid GREEN - press Stop/Reset 4 times! (this is the key) 6.turn off printer by POWER button, then turn on. 7. You should be set. If it didn't work, try it again, slowly. It WILL work!

Please check the battery. You might have to replace the battery bcos it definately gone bad already.
