Media manager

Most basic MP3 devices such as this one, simply mount on your desktop like a flash/USB stick drive when you plug it in. If it does mount, just drag your audio files into the appropriate folder on the mounted drive to transfer your music.

I transfer the music through a usb cord but when i go to my phone it doesnt show up

On feature phones i would try to unmount/mount the sd (safely remove if possible) On android i would try to "reload media" Try the widgetsoid app that would give you a widget with the ability to reload media. if everything fails try another media player, i would recommend poweramp.

Dell won't boot up. The following problems isolated by F12: 3600:0123 Battery test failed 0F00:075D IDE device failed: the self test failed to read ... 0F00:0244 Block 1905 74359: uncorrectable data error...

sounds like a complete motherboard failure with a lot of other problems.
if you remove the HDD ( turn the machine over. 2 screws on the right.slide drive out ) and mount it in an external caddy you should be able to use another machine to access the drive and probably get most data off it.

Is the NWZ-W202 plug and playable under linux? Is it possible to manage songs under linux?

You can mount it as a storage drive, copy/delete audio files from it. If it isn't able to mount it automatically, then try making a folder in /media/ following this illustration; (Open your terminal) $ cd /media/ $ sudo mkdir mp3 $ sudo fdisk -l (This is to find where your mp3 player is)(Note: It's sd*) $ sudo mount /dev/sd* /media/mp3
If you don't receive any errors, simply open your file-manager and it should be in the sidebar.

My itune can not detect my ipod classic 120 gb

try putting your ipod in disk mode.
Press and Hold the Menu (top button) and the Action (center button) until you see the apple appear, then switch your fingers to the Play/Pause (bottom button) and the action (center button) and hold till you see a check mark on the screen.
attached the usb cord and plug it into your computer with your itunes on.
I should mount to itunes.
if it doesn't mount try a different usb port preferably a usb 2.0 port
If that fails, something is wrong with your ipod.

if this helps, please leave a vote on fixya
