The lid broke and i need a new one - Kitchen Selectives 6.5-Qt. Slow Cooker

i broke me g.e. crock pot lid, i need to find a new one but dont know how!! heeelp!! all the websites just go into circles!

easy fix go down to your hardware store and buy a big wooden knob (like you would put on a cabnet to open it) it will even come with its own screw for .99 ! . you will have to snap off with a plyers and a screwdriver whats left of the old knob from the lid . but this fix works great and looks good too !

For what it's worth, when the handle on my mother-in-law's crockpot broke, I went to Home Depot and bought a cheap wooden drawer knob (about $1 as I recall). I put a plastic washer between the knob and the glass and another under the screw head from the bottom (to prevent cracking the lid), tightened the screw and good as new.

Where can I get a new black handle for the lid that broke at the screw.

I broke the lid to mine a while back and I can't find another one. It was my favorite crock pot too! But since I can't find another lid, I'll let you have my insert and base. If you're still looking let me know.

Not knowing where you live and therefore not knowing what services are available to you, try this approach: 1) measure the outside diameter of the broken lid. If you don't have it measure the outer diameter of the pots lip where the cover sits. 2) check other Pyrex covers in your kitchen and see if one fits. 3) or got to the supermarket, hardware store, or other appliance store and see if they have cheap Pyrex cookware that has a lid that will fit. 4) Contact Toastmaster directly and see if you can order one. Many of the covers are interchangeable. I can't make it any easier.
