4 black bars with 3 white bars with black dots

Probably ok. Check the picture ratio or format settings to see if the bars go away when aspect ratio is right setting.

I think your projector lamp and LCD area is dusty.
please use pressurized air can and clean the area.also check the dust filter.
do it carefully.

I cannot find a wiring diagram from where I am located right now, but I do know that the black wire coming from the power cord goes to the top side of the motor when you have it laying upside down with the cover off, and it will go to the tab towards the back of the vacuum. Sometimes they put a black dot beside the tab and if that is there you put your wires from the power cord on those. You will also have two wires coming from your light bar in front and the white wire will usually have a piggy-back terminal that your white wire from the power cord attaches to as well. If there are no black dots beside the terminal tabs the white wires will connect to the bottom terminal on the opposite side from the black power cord wire. It will usually be on the lower side of the motor as well. The black wire from the light bar will go on the remaining terminal tab as there is usually only three tabs on the motor. I will check back later this week to see if this has helped you and if not I should be able to get a diagram this weekend.

Look for more bad caps, sound like on video board also problem

Hi,Yes your problem sounds like the DMD board.This is how it works: http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/dlp1.htm Basically the light of the lamp goes through a tunnel that carries a color wheel(rotating disc with a gamma of colors that creates the colors on your tv)then the light of the lamp goes through the DMD board which is a chip composed of around 2 million pixels that creates the images and colors.When it starts to fail it will create black bars,pixelation,color distortion or white dots on screen. you need a harness adapter you find it at your local auto parts store

your dlp ic is going bad and needs nto be replaced. some of the mirrors are getting stuck they will appear as black dots or white dots. it usually starts as one or two and will continue to get worse over time.

unplug all cords and reconnect them firmly should fix problem

if its less than a year old phone Microsoft customer support.
if not it could be early signs of 3 red lights

your dmd chip is defect this a good job you must tack emgine apart calculate atleast 200 dollars
