Does my acer aspirehave a built in microphone

SOURCE: how to fix and install the built in microphone of my acer laptop aspire 4720z

go to contol panal select. run the hardware wizard, the old drivers are still in the sys32. Or you can go to the device manager and uninstall it reboot and it will find it again.

SOURCE: how to record sounds using external mic on acer aspire 4315???

go to the sound recorder available at start ---> programs ---> accessories then entertainment ----> sound recorder.

click on edit -----> Audio properties -------> default input device and change it to the external Mic you have connected.

In the sounds control panel, right click in the area which should show recording devices. Select 'show disabled devices' and bingo!

You can try these steps :

1. Goto Start >> Control Panel >> Sounds >> Recording.

2. Open the 'Microphone Properties' from the list of devices.

3. Change the status of 'Device Usage' to "Use this device (Enable)".

4. Apply settings and close the window.

5. If still the Microphones are not working, try to reinstall the Audio / Sound drivers. Restart your system.

Yes it does have an inbuilt mic.
