My canon Image runner copier gives an error code E000007-0000 each time I switch it on. What could be the cause and the possible solution

It is a older copier, it could be a fan is not working, is it making noise. It may be failing......

We finally found all the buttons-levers to push and to pull and were able to remove the paper that caused the paper jam. Thanks for your help Nellie

try this solution: enter service mode by pressing *(additional function) then2 and 8 together and then again * select copier on screen>function>clear>error>ok. turn off the machine and re-start.
