Error 41 how do i clear error 41

The H4-00 is a low temp error in the fuser. This can normally be reset by doing the following at the machine:

On the button panel hit
pound, star, C, star
then enter 14, hit start, then execute on the screen.

This should clear any one-off errors

This an error from the physical memory being full or over capacitated.
Login error 41 from the apple support page on error codes. It may have something to do with time machine still in process. Try to quit the process from time machine, clear the cache, delete the recycle bin, clear the history from safari and reboot. If you are still getting this error and not able to log in at all then this fourm on macbook error should help. If all else fails then a clean reinstall of the os from its original disc should solve this issue. (Remember this is your absolute last solution if all else fails). There are stuff around the net about fixing this issue or just contact apple support.

Very likely your print head is faulty. You can get it replaced or try the economical solution below.

I had the same problem after replacing the print head. I removed the ink cartridge and then unclip the two metal two clips by the side that hold the print head. Then I used WD40 to spray through the ink holes until the clear liquid comes out from the print head.Then I replaced everything back and start the cleanning process, do a few test prints. It works ok now, no more Machine Error 41. Therefore, sometime the problem might just be clogged pin heads!

Sorry to say but the only way to clear out a error 41 is to have the print head replaced
cost around 150.00

I had the same problem with a Brother MFC3420C after replacing the print head with a new one the same error 41 occured 4 weeks later.

I finally fixed the problem (see photo's) and sent the parts back to Brother :-)

Don't buy Brother Inkjet technology its all ****!.

Their laser technology seems to be much more robust and reliable, have had a Brother HL-1440 since 2004 and its still running well.
