Clean filter in electrolux EDW5505EPS dishwasher

Unfortunately, the model number EDW5505EDS3 doesn't seem to exist. Electrolux does have a manual for the EDW5505 in the database: http://www.electroluxappliances.com/Owner-Support/Product-Support/ . The direct link to the manual is http://manuals.electroluxappliances.com/prodinfo_pdf/Kinston/6919940en.pdf . This is a generic manual but lists the touch pad options starting on page 17.

There is an Electrolux EDW5505EPS and a EDW5505ESS. If you look here, https://www.ajmadison.com/cgi-bin/ajmadison/EDW5505EPS.html , you can select the second picture and zoom in. That shows several of the buttons clearly.

Hello louisewith4 - I understand none of the buttons functions on the dishwasher, however try unplugging the unit or flipping the household breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and I suggest touching each button individually on keypad, does the display change or will it start? If not, I would recommend contacting a professional because the unit may possibly have a defective keypad.

check gasket for proper fit, cracks, splits.

Have you tried holding the cancel button down for about 15 seconds as these units can sometimes get stuck in a cycle. Try this anyway first.

It was a water inlet filter problem.The filter is found at the back of the base of the machine.Thankyou for taking the time to help solve my dishwasher problem.
