I have a lexmak 6200 series. there was an initial paper jam, so I removed the paper. However after switching on and off and unpluggin it still says that there is a paper jam. I have fed paper through the printer with no problems, however the paper jam message still persists! Please HELP!!!
See what you gotta understand
is that right next to the
rollers that pick up the paper
are paper sensors so if those
sensors have been damaged take
a cotton swab dip it in water.
clean the rollers where the
paper is taken in from and
also clean the carriage rod
along which ur cartridges
move(metallic rod).
Remove any loose paper from the input tray. Press the Power button (
) to turn off the product.Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.
Before
reattaching the duplexer to the back of the product, follow these steps
to clean the paper rollers to remove any debris, dirt, or paper scraps.
Follow these steps to clear the jam from the automatic document feeder (ADF).Remove all originals from the document feeder tray.
) to turn the product off.
