Short messages - forced to delete 4 to receive or send 1

My phone constantly thinks there are too many saved messages. When trying to send or receive one message I have to delete 1, 2, 3 or even 4 saved messages. Soon I will be down to 0 saved messages. Before that happens: Any idea how to solve this problem? A while ago I tried to install an update with no success. Now there is no update for the w8010i online anymore. Any suggestions?

Complain your cellular service company about it. It seems a network error not the error associated with your handset. Try out different sim card to check whether it send message or not
Tell me again if doesn't work.

  1. Go to Message Settings
  2. delete Message Center Number
  3. Restart Phone
  4. Again recheck your sim message center number

just go to message setting and open sending option and check the no. of text message centre whether it is there or not

i cant send or receive messages from my mobile, sony ericsson w100i . "Message Corrupt" is the message given when i open my inbox in a conversation mode. in normal inbox i can see an empty message. Before a week it showed "Out of memory delete messages" displayed. And i bought this mobile only before 2 weeks ago.. Please solve my problem.

Well most phones have an option for a factory reset. Thats usually in the options or tools and settings menu of the phone. There is a possibility that the system memory is getting take up somewhere else and since the messages are the smallest data amount they are being mentioned. But I'm also not sure if older devices make that differentiation or not. Other than that, you may be able to find a replacement model online or you will have to upgrade because your phone is the point where it is just failing due to age.

3. request the message center number...
4.note it down
5. go to message settings>message center number
6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it

this solves your messaging problem ...

I have a galaxy ace s5830 it keeps showing me my messages are full even though i have deleted all my inbox!! Does anyone know how to sort this as now i cannot receive messages from my partner as it still...
-You have to empty some of your pictures or videos to get more space for it to be able to receive and send message. Because it share Only 1 memory.
-Even you don't have any message in the message box but too many picture and video are storage in. It used all storage space

for sending text messages :
1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct
2. call to your network operator customer care
3. request the message center number...
4.note it down
5. go to message settings>message center number
6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it


this solves your messaging problem ...

My phone nokia 6120 classic can't send a message. at first it is on the outbox stated that "resend"at specific time and then after a while it will become failed and when I check the details it...
hi, 1st things to do would be to go through your phone and delete the folowing, delete any you dont need of the following.
1 inbox messages
2 outbox messages
3 sent messages
4 saved messages
5 drafts
6 delete any pictures or ringtones you dont need.

after doing the above try sending another message and see if it works, if your outbox or sent message folder is full then it wont send any messages as it saves the sent ones in a folder so you can see what you have sent so deleting these should get you up and running again.

if it dont then the chances are your phone needs updating to the latest message center number to do this all you need to do is contact your service provider and ask them to set up the message center number once this is done your phone will be back to normal

Mmeory Full. Delete some Data
when saying memory full that does no mean the text messages memory is full it means the phone's memory is full, the messages are saved on you sim card so try deleting some app on you phone

My samsung s8000h jet will not send or receive pxts on the vodafone nz network
there are really some networks that can't send picture messages to other networks except calls and text messages, not in only in your place it is happening, likewise on my place where i am in at present.for whatever reason, they are having different servers and frequency signals, however, you would want to check these steps. try to check you settings for receiving txt and mms messages. for mms,  1. select messages 2. scroll down and select settings 3. select multimedia messages 4. select receiving options 5. select foreign network 6. configure it to auto download 7. uncheck reject advertisement 8. select save and exit settings. 
for text messages, 1.  select messages 2.  select settings 3.  select sending options 4,  select circuit switch 5.  select reply path 6.  select save and exit settings and check.

Keeps saying "Memory full" even though all my messages are deleted
Go to settings, applications, manage applications, click on an app in the list, click on Force Stop, click on Clear Data, you will receive a warning, proceed anyway. Repeat these steps for each app, then reboot the phone. Worked for me.
