Unplug immediately and wait 20 mins to see if motor will "cool-down"...when plugged back in hopefully the Overload light will be OFF....unless you have it completely jammed up in which case try running it in reverse if the overload light is OFF.
If the overload light wont go out you may need pcb...contact Royal at 1-800-524-0799 for further parts assistance.
You put it on the blades. Turn the shredder on to manual and oil the blades, do not oil as you are shredding. You will hear the motor start to speed up as you do this.
