do not use the software that came with the phone i had the same problem if you have connected the phone your computer it should have loaded drivers for the recognition of this phone. after that go to the file my computer you should see your phone displayed there it will also be in the network links bar in windows xp that's the bar next to the clock.. click on ether of these links and it will let you view the contents of your phone drag and drop pics, music, or data when loading music you have to create a music file in your phone first then drage your mp3 music and drop it in that file hope this helps
Maybe you have a faulty cord.
Try using the cord with your old phone, ect.
Also, is this a brand new phone? If it is, maybe take it back to the shop and ask them, if it's not then maybe it was faulty when you bought it.
Either way you should probably take it and the cord back to the shop.
And you can always just bluetooth songs from your other phone onto this phone.
Get back to me mate.
Have you made sure you have everything connected and installed? if you don't have it installed, you wont be able to use it. double check, and if it still doesnt work, install it again. this time, i will register.
You have to use the software and buy the connection cable from your wireless provider. For example, Verizon Wireless makes you buy their connection cable and use their (free) software in order to put music on their phone. If you just drag and drop music files on your SD card and insert it into the phone it won't recognize it.
