E74 set 100% still too dark to see photos

If the picture is dark, on screen brightness will not overcome this.

Open the printer driver setup window
Select the manual color adjustment (or if already in manual and it had initially been printing fine, you may opt to select Auto)
On the Main tab, select Manual for Color/Intensity, and click Set....
The Manual Color Adjustment dialog box opens.
Specify the brightness

Select Light, Normal, or Dark for Brightness, and click OK.
The current settings are displayed in the settings preview on the left side of the printer driver.
Complete the setup
Click OK on the Main tab.
When you execute print, the data is printed at the specified brightness.

You can adjust it thru the settings it is like the menu, all is being adjust there including the color, contrast, bright etc.
It really depends on your need so the choice is yours, adjust it the way you want.

Check the properties of the printer in Windows, make sure it's not using any odd color profiles. My Epson uses E411__1 as it's color profile. There might also be brightness and contrast sliders in the printing preferences that you can adjust or return to default.

I have the same problem at my church with the indoor lighting on my camera. I'm able to get it work by putting the whole thing on manual and adjusting the lighting settings that way.

Please try rephrasing this question. Do you want dark photos to become lighter, or light photos to become darker using photoshop? You are not clear.

try to open your tv and you can find the flyback ,in flyback you can see the screen and focus to adjust.use and try to rotate the screen,it control the brightness of your unit

You probably have a problem with the back light inverters or the bulbs with this set. If you have no electronic background with working with TV sets, call in a pro to assist you in this repair. Good Luck

If the LCD screen is too bright or too dark, adjust the LCD Brightness setting in the Setup Menu. If you are shooting photos outdoors in bright light, move the joystick to the icon showing the sun over shaowed area to turn on Outdoor mode and make the LCD screen easier to see in bright light.
