POWER SUPPLY & BATTERY PROBLEM
If thelaptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.Whenyou connect the power adapter into the laptop, does the power LED lightup? If not then -The battery adapter or the adapter's power lead or the laptop's powersocket could be faulty.Check power adapter's DCplug that connects into the laptop power socket with a multi-meter, the voltageshould be slightly higher than the voltage that is printed on the label on thebottom of the adapter. If the voltage is zero or way below the voltage that isprinted on the label then the power adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the adapter is OK thenconnect it to the laptop and power it up, then look at the power/batterycharging LED light and wriggle the power plug in the laptop's powersocket. If the power/battery LED light flashes and in a certain position thisLED light stays firm, then the power socket is either faulty or it has a drysolder joint where it is connected to the motherboard. This can be repaired but itrequires the laptop to be completely dismantled to get at this power socket andrepair. If you cannot DIY then I suggest you get a quote first.

WILL NOT CHARGE OR POWER ON

Normal 0 When you connect the power adapter into the laptop, does the power LED light up? If not then -
The battery adapter or the adapter's power lead or the laptop's power socket could be faulty.
Check power adapter's DC plug that connects into the laptop power socket with a multi-meter, the voltage should be slightly higher than the voltage that is printed on the label on the bottom of the adapter. If the voltage is zero or way below the voltage that is printed on the label then the power adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced.

Compal RM CY25 Laptop. new battery won't charge.

Unfortunately, the charger socket in the motherboard does not drive electricity to the battery to get re-charge it. It is a typically motherboard problem(Do not confused with a power jack problem). I can not be repaired it.
Two options work always hook with power adapter or get ride of her.

I own an Acer Aspire 1800.When turn on with its adapter plugged in, it dims the display (like if it were on battery power) and the power button starts flashing green and the laptop BEEPS every twenty...

it sounds to me that your adapter that charges your laptop is faulty or the charging port on it is faulty your should try to purchase another adapter and if this fails you will have to have it repaired i hope this helps!

Psu

200 watt max. 19v DC power brick with a 4 pin plug, with two positive and two ground pins. The PSU is unique to the E-bot. I have not been able to find an exact match anywhere. Foxconn no longer sells the PSUs and will not help with tech support in any way. The PSU was originally produced by Fortron Source Power (FSP). When mine went bad, I had to buy a similar looking unit (but with only a 150 watt max rating), then I had to rewire the output cord, because the 4 pin plug had the positives and negatives switched around.

If you need a new power brick for the Ebot, I seriously hope you have the old original unit still. If you do, you can then simply buy any 19V laptop power brick that has acceptable power output (at least 120 watt) and then replace the power output cord with the original one from the Ebot's power supply (some soldering required). It's really the only way to replace the unit.

Fujitsu-Siemens - Batteries won't charge

Whats the spec of your power supply (approx 19v dc @ 3 - 4 Amps...)
Voltage 'OFF LOAD' is irrelevant - its the power consumption (A) that you need to validate (Do not measure directly)
Does the Laptop power up under mains feed ?
Is your concern mainly the fact that the battery(s) are not charging ?
Not finding what you are looking for?
