Why am I being asked to sign in to my Google toolbar account every day>?

1. Sign in to My Account.
2. Under "Sign-in & security," select Signing in to Google.
3. Choose Password. If you see a prompt to sign in again, sign in.
4. Enter your new password, then select Change Password.

Reset your password

Step one:
- Go to Control Panel.
- Click on Uninstall programs
- Type in "ask toolbar" on Search.
- Uninstall.

Step two:

• Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
• Select Settings.
• Click Show advanced settings and find the "Reset browser settings" section.
• Click Reset browser settings.
• Check that there are no extensions installed that may be causing these changes. Go to Chrome menu> Settings > Extensions > if you see any unfamiliar extension that you do not remember installing, try disabling/removing the extension to see it was causing these changes. To disable, uncheck the "Enabled" checkbox next to the extension. To remove, hover over the extension until you see a trash can icon appear, and click on the icon.

I forget my unlock pattern code and now asking the gmail addres

1. select menu -> settings -> applications -> manage applications

2. scroll down and click "Google Apps"

3. click the "Clear data" button (you will receive a warning, click OK)

4. go back to home screen

5. pull down the notification menu and click on the message "Your account must be updated"

6. follow the onscreen instruction until you get to where it asks you to "create" or "sign in", click "sign in" and enter YOUR new Google account info.

it's not only to gmail.. x8 has application name "Google App" which includes gmail,gtalk etc.. with one account you are able to sign in all this.. so to logout or to be sign in with another account.. try this..
open Settings-->application-->manage application-->Google App-->Clear data
also clear data of gmail..
than open Setting-->Data synchronization
this will ask you quick setup for google account..sign in with it via any google id and you may able to use gmail and gtalk now..
if gmail doesn't saw mails and says wait for snyc for long time than do following
Settings-->Data Synchronization-->gmail(synchronize now)
wait for some time and gmail will be started..
