You can modify the position in the menu.
The start position can be prgrammed in the personal settings.
Moving the paperwon't change anything because the printer will always check the top of feed

Windows XP, pre-printed P.O. forms. Iif I line it up in the same spot to print it never starts on the same line, always to high or to low. The info is being entered into an EXCEL page.

Your Okidat print emulates othe printers. Print out configuration and see what your printer is emulating and load the driver for that printer and all should work ok. Fought same problem for weeks, until I Loaded driver for printer it is emulating.

There is no easy way. You need to adjust starting position for every form. There is fine feed function and Top Of Form setting procedure, so you can adjust the minimum space between top of porm and first printed string (user's guide explains in details how to do it). But after that you need to decide whether you manually set the start position by rotating the knob or play with your application to adjust margins etc.

How to print on custom paper

Worked it out in the end -

1. In XP classic view, Right-click on Start, Settings, Printers & Faxes
2. In the Printers & Faxes window, click on File, Server Properties
3. With the Forms tab selected, check the Create a New Form box
4. Enter a name for the new form in the Form name: field
5. Enter values for the paper size and margins
6. Click the Save Form button

That's it - the new custom paper size should now appear in your print dialogs. hth.
