Don't know the extension to check messages.

We have Panasonic KX-T7433 phones in our office. I'm new and just learned that you can check incoming messages on my phone (the main line.) I've asked and it seems no one in my office knows how to check those. I'm sure we need an extension code or instructions, but I need to know now. I'm sure there are hundreds of messages, if no one's been checking them!! Help!!

On the Panasonic KX-T7433 how can I access stored messages once the message light goes out?

You would have to call the voicemail extension number - might be 500.

Don't see my phone line once someon else picks up a lilne on My Panasonic KX T7433

Start by pressing PROGRAM 99 on the phone and press the line buttons one a t a time. It will tell you what CO(central office) line is assigned to the button.
They should be in sequence 1,2,3,4 etc. If they don't, dial 0 + 0x STORE to program it and make it work.

MY EXTENSION DOESN'T RING FOR EXTERNAL CALLS ON THE KX-T7433 SYSTEM WE HAVE INSTALLED. HOW CAN I GET IT TO RING FOR INCOMING EXTERNAL CALLS?

JUST AS YOU'RE TOO LAZY TO USE THE SHIFT KEY AND LOSE THE CAPS LOCK KEY, I'M TOO LAZY TO LOOK UP THELINK TO A MANUAL. HOWEVER, I CAN TELL YOU THAT YOU COULD GO TO THE PROGRAMMING MANUAL FOR A PANASONIC KX-TD 816/1232 AND LOOK AT DIL 1:N PROGRAM 603 AND 604. IT'S WHERE YOU SET THE EXTENSIONS THAT RING WHEN A CALL COMES IN.

Our office has Panasonic KX-T7433 phones installed, but no one knows if they have a voicemail option, when someone rings the phones just ring out although messages are stored showing the numbers that have...

If nothing answers extension 165 then you probaby don't have voice mail. You can look for something as simple as a TVS-50 or a TVA anything sytsem (US part numbers). Ebay has deals, but check back here before you dive in. You can probably pick up a system for less than $300.

KX-T7433 - message light does not work

Assuming that the 74xx phone is connected to a Panasonic TD system, the only code is dialing 701 on the intercom, or pressing the MESSAGE button and dialing the 3 digit extension. You can't set your own MW, so you need to do it from another phone to your extension to test it. It also has to be the hardware number ie 101-116 or 132 and not Phantom numbers.

Your 74xx phone could be connected to a TDA or the numbering plan may have been changed, but those are obscure situations.

Panasonic KX-T7433 Message Light

If there is no message and you just want to clear the light, press the message button on the bottom panel of the phone and then the button at the top under the display screen that lines up with "clear". That will turn off the message light.

You probably didn't, but dialing 700 plus your extension and maybe # will clear all messages.

Call forwarding

Hi,

I don't know if you've got this sorted yet or if you're still looking for a solution. If you are still looking, try the following:

From the phone the calls currently ring at, try dialling:

7102, followed by the new extension number you want the calls to ring at. You should hear a confirmation tone and then you should be sorted.

To cancel this and go back to normal, at the original phone dial 7100.

Let me know if this works! :)
