What are the probles when using solar energy sourse

Not using enough solar panels or total output to match the needs for what you would be using it for. Small solar panels (35-100 watt) are great just to keep 1-4 batteries charged when not in use but if you plan to be running an inverter and powering appliances, living quarters in an RV or larger scale living, that if when you would need A LOT of solar panel and a basement full of batteries to use at all times. A lot of money would be spent on the panels and batteries but if you do not have the right equipment to control the electricity and monitor everything, you may be better if donating the money to a good charity where it will be much more useful and greatly appreciated

I am connecting a 1000w Cobra Power inverter to a deep cycle marine battery that will be used to run small appliances while camping. How do I properly connect the inline circut breaker for maximum safety?

The breaker goes in in series.

So, that means (for example) you remove the hot wire to the unit, from the positive battery power source, and hook this wire to one side of the breaker, then connect the other terminal to the positive battery power source.

This will stop current flow if anything over 40 amps happens on the line.

You actually can hook the breaker anywere along the circuit, but the closer to the power source, the better you are protected.

2006 Buick Lucerne/ 10 mo.dead battery told i need to put 1000 ml. a mo. to keep battery????

That is not necessarily correct-if the car sits all the time, parasitic drain on the battery will eventually kill even a new battery. Telling someone that a car has to be driven 1000 miles a month to maintain the battery is not a solution-if you don't drive alot, get a trickle charger ($good one is $30, one that works can be found for $10) that you can plug in and keep hooked up to the battery to keep it fresh. Another way is to get a solar panel charger (1 1/2 watt, about $20 at Harbor Freight) and put the panel on the dashboard, and the other end into the cigarette lighter socket in the dashboard. A third solution is to buy a deep cycle battery (Optima) that can be fully drained hundreds of times yet will recover and work properly-these are expensive ($175), but out perform conventional batteries that die if fully discharged a few times. You could also install a remote starter and periodically start the car, letting it run for 15 minutes-about $200

I have a 1000 Watt Inverter, along with a regular car battery when the electricity goes out; Question: Can I use the 1000 Watt inverter and connect a 100 amp, deep cycle battery? I use regular house...

Yes, just be sure connections are heavy enough wire, and obviously the inverter uses 12 vdc input. Hook jumper wires positive to positive, negative to negative, on all 12 volt batteries. Deep cycle batteries will work better than car batteries. Just remember, when re-charging them, that they last longer when charged slowly, so don't use a high amp setting on charger and to monitor them closely, and do it in a well ventilated area, away from any ignition sources.

Is this inverter powerful enough?

You are right. This is not enough to operate this freezer. You are going to need a bigger invertor it get it to work properly 900 or 1000 watt should be efficient even though it is not the best way to run the unit. If the unit has a problem you would be replacing the inverter all the time. Just FYI

Tech Question

Automotive batteries are usually adequate for small inverters, (< 500 Watts). When used in a car, we suggest you run the vehicle of your engine occasionally while operating your inverter. If you use the inverter while the engine is off, you should start the engine regularly and let it run to charge the battery. Deep Cycle (marine) batteries are best for larger inverters as they are designed for several hundred charge/discharge cycles. (Automotive batteries wear out much more quickly after heavy discharge).
