Sony Cyber-shot DSC-650 problem accessing pics

When i switch my cybershot into view mode, it immediately starts scrolling through the pics in fast forward and won't stop.  It won't allow me to delete or do anything to the pics, it just continues to go through the pics in rapid succession.

Try this, but you'll lose any presets and setups.

To reset the AV receiver to its factory defaults, turn
it on and, while holding down the [VIDEO 1] button,
press the [STANDBY/ON] button. “Clear” will
appear on the display and the AV receiver will enter
Standby mode.

Cybershot dsc-w50 records movies instead of pictures

I had the same problem with my camera.  I found that changing the mode from Multi Burst to Normal allows the camera to take normal pictures.  Go to Menu and scroll over to Mode, then select Normal.

the fix should be in the set-up menu. Look through for "post-view", which should control whether the image stays on the LCD after you shoot, and for how long.

Viewing is fine, taking pictures is not

This sounds like what started happening with my camera a few weeks ago. I found that turning the LCD screen off during picture-taking allows me to take pictures. I then have to go into review mode to look at the pictures I took using the LCD screen. Definitely not a great fix. I'm trying to locate a firmware upgrade that may solve it.
