First of all, make sure your amp is bridgeable. There are a few ways to bridge subs. series: hook one wire from the negative on the left amp output (or whichever is labeled on amp for bridged)to left sub negative. left sub positive to right sub negative, then right sub positive to the amp positive output.(like a big loop through both speakers) parallel: both speakers get their own set of wires, both negatives go to the bridge negative terminal, and both positives go to the positive bridge terminal. Series-parallel: A combination of the two. say two speakers in series, and one hooked up alone, but all to the same amp outputs. Bridging your amp/speakers basically lowers the resistance of the circuit and makes more current flow, more power, louder, harder hit. In series, it also makes both speakers do exactly the same thing, instead of "stereo sound" or L/R differences. What you're probably looking to do is Bridge in parallel. That will drop the resistance of the circuit the lowest, allow the amp to put out the most amount of current to the speakers, and allow your bass to hit the hardest. If your amp only has one output, hook up the same way as above. Just see what resistance your amp is stable down to. If down to 1 ohm, no worries. if stable only to 2 or 4 ohms, you may want to bridge in series to be safe. That will cause the resistance to go up, and will not pull as much current through the amp. The whole time, just remember Bridgeing and higher current mean HEAT so watch your amp. I hope this helped.

What kind amp should be use for ts-w307d2 subwoofer speaker?

Nice sub, i have 2 308d4s in my car. Okay this sub is a dual coil 2 ohm. so to get best bang for your buck you'll want a 2 channel amp and bridge it. Your sub is 400 watts RMS, So you'll want an amp that has the same rating. I'd recommend the pioneer GM-5400t. Then wire your voice coils in parallel, and bridge your amp, you'll get 380 watts RMS, which is perfect for this sub. If you have questions on wiring or anything you can just ask. thanks, i hope this helps

Sony Xplod

If your still getting a green light, it at least sounds like the amplifier portion may still be funcitonal. Perhaps your inputs are blown. If your comfortable with electronics, pop the cover, and try patching a signal directly to the amplifier stage. and of course check your source.

How do i hook it up

On the Sub you have 4 connectors, 2 for each voice coil... Run a jumper wire from One side of the sub to the other. Positive to negative so that now you have one set of connectors free. Doing this will make the sub able to handle more cause you're using both voice coils. Thats how i've always hooked mine up when i have duel voice coil and they always last a long time. If you're gonna bridge the amp, make sure its turned down for about 5 or 6 hours to let the sub break in.

2 Subs running together

If they have the same impedence (like 4 ohm) then you should be able to run two different model number speakers as if they were the same model number. There might be a slight difference in the way they sound, but I would not expect it to be enough to be noticeable. Good luck.

Need help

It should be better to use the Pioneer GM-7200M Amp with your subs.

For 8 ohm setup hook up this way:
Amp out+ to Sub1 +
Sub1 - to Sub 2 +
Amp out - to Sub2 -

For 2 ohm setup hook up this way:
Amp + to Sub1 +
Sub1 + to Sub2 +
Amp - to Sub1 -
Sub1 - to Sub2 -

How

i think it depends on the speaker itself, it should say on the back the sreaker, most likely on the magnet, what ohm the speaker is.

Witch is better

hi there. ill start with the wiring. you should have a blue remote lead going to the back of your head unit, the power cable running straight from the amp to the battry, the earth should be earthed in a fairly decent place, any metal inside the car realy, and then your wires pos and neg from the amp to the subs. the reason why the kenwood might not have much base on it is to my knowledge, there should be a switch somewhere on the amp that will increase or decrease the power input for the speakers, if this is set very low then hense why theres not much base comming from them. if the amp is on and its giving something to the subs it probably isnt the wiring. try checking the amp for the switch first, if you cant find it try the pioneer amp and see if theres any diference.
dont hesitate to contact me if you get stuck

cheers, adam
