Won't log in. won't accept my password

It sounds more like it is refusing your Facebook password, and not refusing your email address (assuming it is entered correctly).
I suggest going through the password reset procedure again when logging into Facebook in your browser. Select "Forgotten your password?" on the Login page.

You could try this. If you go to facebook.com login page, just under where you input your password you can click on "forgotten password". This takes you to a page where it says "find my account" where you can enter "Email, Phone, Username or Full Name". Try entering one of these (My email gave the best result for me) and follow through the instructions to reset your password so that you can access your account.

I think you have wrong type password 3 times after that even you enter correct it wont allow you to enter facebook , kindly check your keyboard is functioning properly after that wait for 1 hour and try password again , if you still have a problem try to reset with mail or phone options

Your situation might have happened during logging in or while using Find Friends.

If it had happened during logging in, then you need to provide the e-mail ID and the Password you provided during Facebook signup.My guess is you would have entered password of your mail account in Facebook.

If it is during 'Find Friends', then you might have entered wrong password for your mail id.

Hi there, Just click the first link that is provided in the mail instead of entering the password reset code sent by Facebook. By clicking the first link, you won't be needing to enter the password reset code - it will open another tab wherein you can set your new password.

If you are unable to log in with your password, try reseting your Facebook password by clicking on " Forgot your password? " on the facebook page.

they should send you an Email asking you to create a new password.

Log out, then go to http://www.facebook.com/reset.php
Enter your e-mail address to be sent a new password, then log into facebook with the new password and change your password in Account Settings to your old password.
