before it please check the unit for over heating and noise sound yourself if it heated up something wrong with electronic circuits.
Eventually your battery will have a short/no life indeed. Though this happens to all laptops. Using your laptop while it is charging isn't going to damage anything. It just means that the battery will take longer to charge because you're using the laptop. To get the most life out of the battery, fully charge it and then use it until it is empty. It's also a good idea to remove the battery when the laptop is connected to the mains supply. All you're trying to do is extend the life of the battery. The day will come when it holds a short/no charge.
short battery life is contributed to these, 1. Old battery 2. Lots of apps running in the background 3. Taking lots of photos 4. Charging the phone when it does not need a full charge 5. Leaving your phone in direct heat or cold 6. Dropping the phone 7. Leaking battery 8. 1 year or more old battery 9. Continuously talking and charging at the same time 10. Ensure to contact your insurance to see if the battery is protected under your plan.

Sounds like you have a faulty ac adapter or jack on the laptop and its not charging the battery fully. More like a trickle charge. I would recommend leaving the laptop on default power settings or the best power settings and see if their is a differance in life or either shutdown the laptop and let it charge until the light shows fully charged.
that means the battery chemical substance is benig dead this is normal cuz all battreis got a life time
just replace the battrey if the phone still not last with fresh battery that means the phone got a dechrge he is make batteries empty through a short circuit or smth like that.
time to get a new battery. For future reference, do not use battery and AC at the same time b/c it will kill the battery. Use one or the other (unless battery is being charge).
this problem can be caused by many factors. Use of the phone can drain battery life for example if you use the phone for browsing the web or as an mp3 player, even to make or recieve calls the battery life will not be as long as it would if just on standby. also if the battery hasn't been conditioned or is being over charged this can also lead to short battery life.To resolve the problem try conditioning th battery, basically let the charge drain completely out of the phone until the phone actually switches off, then charge the phone for 24 hours. Next time the battery goes ded only charge for the recommended charging time (this info can be found either in your phone user guide or by contacting the customer service department of your network provider).
