If it was dropped in water ,it must've fried the power chip. This Can Not Be fixed with a hair dryer...if you take it down to a computer repair shop they coul replace the chip for a price of around $400 (depend whether other parts or circuits have been harmed) I've done this before on my t100 and I spent at least $500 for the chip and the LCD screen.

Has been running fine. my daughter emptied it yesterday morning and didn't put the catch container back in the machine properly and a red light (small round) on top left of machine was on when I went...

Actually, the fan shouldn't be working if the water bucket is not installed properly. So, I believe it's more of a case of the electronic controls need to be reset.

To accomplish this, turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF and unplug the unit for 15 minutes.
After the time as elapsed, plug the unit in and turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON. The Bucket Full light should not, now be ON. And the unit can function as it should, after you reset the controls for maximum humidity extraction (32 - 35%).

Hope this helped you troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

If you can gravity feed it and can get a hose around the output pipe then any flexible hose will work that is slightly larger than the output pipe.

I got a Samsung Gravity and it wont turn on.

dear,

if your phone dropped in water then the first step to be done is immigately remove the battery and then let it dried through a table lamp. you should keep it under 100 W test lamp at a distance of 5-6 feet. if it worked fine after dropping in water and again shut off then open the cover and do this method..

goodluck....

Dropped phone in water

SIM is probably bad or a little wet. but wait and let everything dry out and see if it works. Mine was soaked and the next morning worked fine. at least you probably won't have to buy a new phone.

My cell phone fell into water bucket for five minutes

DO NOT USE HEAT. You will damage the tiny components of your phone.
The best thing to do is that the moment you get water in your phone, disassemble it. Remove the battery as soon as possible. this is very important. Then, open the casing and seperate whatever you can, like the memory card, the back cover, the keypad etc. Shake out any water that you can from the openings. When you shake it you will most probably get some water out.
Now, use a dry cloth to dry your phone. Dry as much as you can.

Next, take a bowl and fill it with dry, uncooked rice. Yes, rice. :) Put your unassembled cellphone in this bowl. All of its parts should be in the rice. Now leave this overnight atleast. If possible, leave it for 2 days.
Then, assemble your phone again. It should work fine now. Atleast mine did. :)
Hope it works for you too.

Plus, as you have already done the first part and dried it, just leave it open under a fan etc overnight and it will work fine.
