I dont have power in the swicht for going the scaner

I go to auto zone to put the escaner and then tellme i dont have power in the swich so cant read the escaner the problem can you helpme

That could be part of the problem. There is a black Powerbox that may have a label for the ECM Relay. The ECM is needed for your vehicle to run good. At best, you may be running on "Limp Mode" which ignores many of the sensors and just keeps the vehicle going so you can limp home.

After that, the Dealers have BIG scanners that do not rely on your onboard computer. These units ask questions of your components and do not rely on the memory inside your SUV.

When you address the power issues for the scanner, some things may straighten out.

If van Nissan is put on parking ,its idle is sometimes up between 1 and 2

you need to go to auto zone and get your vehicle read to see what it causing this ,,high idle is not good ..auto zone will read it fast and free

go to advance auto or a auto zone they will or can hook a scaner up to it and clear all codes for you.. if that dont work u have more problems.....

Gas mileage is terrible,check engine light on,put on computer by friend said o2 sensor -i wasnt sure my friend new what he was doing so took to auto zone now they say the computer wont read

auto zone reader will sometimes not read codes. take it to your local garage and ask them to plug into it with an updated reader. i dont charge to read a code and i would hope they dont either. the o2 sensor could cause bad gas mileage. whens the last tune up done? check air filter. plugs? also check air in tires. low tires can cost fuel mileage as well. hope this helps

Check engine light cant be read by auto zone wont pick up reading just had a new water pump in

the guys at autozone were delivering newspapers or pizzas two weeks ago and they are using a 30 dollar toy analyzer. go to a real garage with real mechanics and have them put their $3500 analyzer on it and you may get a better idea of what is wrong. this may well cost 40-65 dollars and will not include a repair.

Orange engine light come on

it means there is a trouble code in your computer the only way to read them is to have a diagnostic computer for your car. most shops probly wont be able to read alfa romeo codes so you may need to shop around

is it standard trasmission or auto standard look for a swicht under the clucht pedal if so jump it put a wire beetwenn the therminal if auto put it in neutral try it maybe defective neutral swicht move shifter up and down fast good luck pierre
