Oki microline 280 eco jumps around .75" for each new page

There could be a few possible reasons why your Okidata Microline 280 Eco printer is jumping around 0.75" for each new page. Here are some things to check:
  1. Check the paper feed mechanism: Make sure the paper is feeding correctly through the printer and that the paper guide is properly aligned. If the paper is not being fed correctly, it can cause the printer to jump around.
  2. Check the tractor feed mechanism: The tractor feed mechanism may not be gripping the paper correctly, causing it to feed inconsistently. Make sure the tractor feed mechanism is properly aligned and tightened.
  3. Check the page length settings: Double-check that the page length settings are correct and that they match the size of the paper you are using. If the settings are incorrect, the printer may not be able to print the entire page and may skip to the next page prematurely.
  4. Check the top of form settings: Make sure the top of form is set correctly and is not too close to the top of the page. If it is too close, it may cause the printer to jump around.
  5. Check the print head alignment: If the print head is not aligned correctly, it can cause the printer to jump around. Check the print head alignment and adjust it if necessary.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be a hardware problem with the printer itself. In that case, you may need to contact Okidata technical support for further assistance or consider taking the printer to a professional repair shop.

Machine does not appear to have a button to sew in reverse

try these suggestions
Reduce the stitch length to zero. The machine will stitch in place and form a locked stitch
1) rotate the material and sew over the same stitching. Leave the needle down in the work and raise the presser foot, then turn the fabric around.
2) decrease the stitch length to very small for a few stitches

OR
3) hold the fabric and prevent it from feeding at the beginning and end of a seam, which makes very short stitches

4) stitch about 1/2", raise the needle and presser foot, return the fabric to the beginning position and stitch over the first half inch of seam again. Do the same at the end

How do you load paper into a canon p23-dh v

For loading paper into canon p23-dh v is to cut a piece of index card to the length of 3 inches and to the width of the paper you want to load. Tape evenly to the end of the paper roll and put into the ****, pushing gently in and at the same time pressing the 'Feed" button. It will immediately feed since it is firmer than the Poat-it paper.

When I scan a document, a black line the length of the page is seen on my scanned copy. What is causing this? I have cleaned the print head.

When you are scanning with the auto paper feed, if the scanning window has a spec on it, you get a line the lenght of the paper.

Tally 2250

Measure with a ruler the size of the form in inches that you are going to use .

Calculate the number of lines you have by relating it to the Line Density using the formula
Form Length = Form Size * Line Density
For example for 11 inch paper at 6 lpi = 11 * 6 = 66 Lines

You must disable the Printers Menu Lock before you can change any settings - (power on holding down SETUP)

Press SET UP button on the Control Panel.

Select the MENU Option on the Control Panel Display.

Select the NEXT Option on the Control Panel Display until PAPER is displayed.

Select the PAPER Option on the Control Panel Display by pressing the button directly beneath it.

Select the Desired Paper Path for the Form Length change - The different Paper Paths can be stepped through by using the NEXT Option on the Control Panel Display.

Select Paper Path by pressing the button directly beneath it.

Select FORMLEN by pressing the button directly beneath it.

Select LINES and then increase or decrease the value on the Control

Panel Display by using the two arrow buttons until the desired length in lines has been achieved.

Select the SET Option on the Control Panel Display by pressing the button directly beneath it.

Set the Printer back ON-LINE by pressing the ON-LINE button.

This will set the form length on the printer, see the support section of www.dascom.co.uk for more info

Epson FX-2190

What operating system are you using? In Windows, you can set it through server properties in the Printers area of the control panel, you can do this by creating a custom paper size. If you are running in DOS, you can set the page length through the printer itself by going to its default setting. In the printers default setting, make sure you are setting the length on the correct paper path (FRONT FEED, BACK FEED).

TALLY T2250 PRINTER

It sounds like there is 12 inch form length (or may be A4) selected on the computer system. The data from the system will take precidence over the 11 form length set on the printer.
If using Windows, ensure the Printing Preferences in the pritner driver are set to 11 form, Also check Printer Properties for a paper size ensure this is set to 11 inch
On the 'System' check the paper size selected within the application (if available) Check this is set to 11 inch form length
Check document margins to ensure these are not reducing the 'printable area' on the page. If availabe to a Print Preview on system to see what the document looks like.

If your application outputs raw data to the printer, check the number of lines per page assming printing at 6 lines per inch you can fit 66 lines on an 11 form. Check no more than 66 lines are per page, it sounds like 72 might be being sent befor a Form Feed in the data. (there may be a 1 line top margin set on the printer)

Finaly check the top margin setting on the printer to ensure it is set to 0 so you have the full 66 lines available on a page on the printer I think you would be looking to set the FORM ADJUST to 0 to adjust the top margin
