Hi, I have to change my battery a few days ago, and The jeweller tell me the same as yours. You have to read the manual ... Once the new battery is installed, you have to open the button that is used for analogic command. When done, you must press a few second the three others button to reset the digital part ... That is what I have done with mine, and it works perfectly today ...

This watch needs to be sent back to the factory to get the movement replaced. I am doing this for the second time in 4 years. Citizen Europe states it's a defective design. The watch goes into dive mode with sweat, humidity and washing your hands. The water sensor tells the computer it's gone diving but the pressure sensor isn't telling it the same thing which causes a fault with the computer. I was told to cover the water sensor with WAX by the factory repair facility. WAX on a $400 dive watch. Great. They shold have used the pressure sensor to initiate dive mode. Customer Service said it wasn't defective, so it was designed to need this part everytime the battery has to bre replace.

mcdevito75 here, I would try a new battery even, if you just changed the battery, batteries have a shelf life also, you may have bought an old battery unknown to anyone. Look for a small watch repair shop in your area before you send the watch in, if you don"t do your own watch work.

If an accumulator is the same as a capacitor, then yes. The capacitor is no longer charging as it should. About $49 US is what mine cost.

assuming the battery isn't dead (IF IT IS DON'T TAKE THE BACK OFF, YOU WILL LOSE THE SPRING THAT MAKES THE ALARM SOUND) the button on the bottom right click it until the function selector is pointed to time, then pull the button out, then the top two buttons i believe change the hour hands. before setting the time you will need to zero this watch out, or calibrate it or the date will not change in synch with the time at midnight.

my battery is dead and i am a truck driver and am therefore having a difficult time (no pun intended) finding a place i can get parked to have my battery changed. please believe me when i tell you that you will lose this spring, a jeweler lost mine once and it took months to order a new one

hi, I'm from Italy and changed the batteries just 2 days ago - theer are three batteries inside this watch - in a normal shop selling citizen watches.....
I think youhave just to change shop....

Yes local watch service center near to your place can change the glass,tell the technician that is a mineral glass a scratch proof.
About the battery your watch has no battery it is a self powered, that's why they called it eco -drive,that is the features of your watch.
There's like a dynamo inside when you move, it produce electricity and stored it in barrel like a battery cell,the electricity stored there expired in two weeks ,if ever you don't use your watch,you better use so it can stock many electricity.
