This is a common problem because it is the same brand controll the only way i found to get round this is cover up one of the sensors on either the telly or the suround i have the same prob with my v+box and my dvd box i found if you cover the one sensor you can use the controll on the other with no problem this is a pain as you have to keep covering the sensor up this might not work on yours but this is the only way i can get round it on some controlls their is a safe mode witch stops other controlls affecting it but you have to switch this on and off to change anything witch is a pain sorry i couldnt help any more ...............

The Remote will not control the surround sound what is the problem?

You can not program a remote that comes with a device to operate that device. It will always just work. Check the batteries, make sure they are in properly and try to replace them.

HOW TO CONNECT SAMSUNG 40 LCD TV TO SAMSUNG SURROUND TZ215 THRUGH SKY + HD BOX.

you will need the following = HDMI LEAD
Optical Audio Lead
Red and White phono Lead

Sky HD Box > connect to Tv via HDMI Lead.

Sky HD box > Connect the optical Audio, and the Phono Leads To your Surrounds sound.

The reason I am wanting you to connect the phono's as well as the optical audio out. Not all programs are transmitted with Dolby D so you will need these for normal sound to come through your surround sound.

One last thing I would like you to check is the sound settings on your Hd box.

OLD PROGRAM GUIDE:
On your sky remote. Press SERVICES, 4, 2, then ensure that Dolby D is displayed if not highlight and using the blue button change this to Dolby D. then arrow down to save.

NEW PROGRAM GUIDE:
On your sky remote. Press SERVICES, 0, Arrow along to SOUND then arrow down and change this to DOLBY D Then press the GREEN button.

Hope this Helps you out. IF so please leave a thumbs up
