that problem very likely is the control board. there is another brand of fridge in S.AFRICA THAT DOES THE EXACT THING OF WHICH THE BOARD HAS TO BE CHANGED.

SOURCE: Samsung RL36SBMS keeps cutting out,

This is not a full solution, but I'll tell you what I did. Somewhere along the way, something worked.

First, I defrosted for about 48 hours. I turned it on, and the same thing happened, as if it was broken.

I took off the back panel (and also the support for the ice rack) mostly. I got all but the top bit off, so it hinged on the top (I was afraid of breaking the plastic. I checked that there was no ice around. I spun the fan, and wiped the grooves where the air flows (to clean it off a little). I put everything back together. It was tricky making sure the wires on the left did not get caught.

Bizzarrely, having disassembled and reassembled everything, it all started working again as if there was no problem.

Incidentally, the blinking light under the "5" seemed to indicate it was in test mode. I tried to somehow get it out of that by holding down buttons for 8 seconds or so, but that did not seem to work.

If this or something else works for you, please do post, but at least this worked for me, and it is worth a shot before buying a new fridge.

Incidentally, I have read enough to know that I will not buy a Samsung fridge again.

SOURCE: Samsung Rear Projection 47" TV goes into stand by on start up

I am sorry to disappoint you but a TV problem can only be fixed by electronic technician. If you want to do it yourself, you would have to learn electronics. Start by learning basic electronic, and then read a book on how to fix televisions. Without knowledge in electronics, you won't be able to understand a book on fixing a TV. I have been fixing TV since 1998, and I started after dropping out of electronic engineering class. I learned most about electronics on my own, and you can too.

When cut tv on it cuts right back off after few seconds.

usually this is a fault with the power supply in the tv. the capacators only hold enough charge to turn on the tv but not maintain the proper current to keep it on. contact a repair technition or the manufacturer.

Power on T.V. keeps cutting on & off every second.

I believe that your TV's had a bad soldering. resoldering all the circuits may help.

if you bang or tap the top or side of your TV the video, sound, or anything will move or something happen.

warning: TV's has a high voltage. I prefer you to be careful if you open it.
have a good day and take care.

Tv cuts off and green light flashes

If your set was manufactured around July 2005, you may need a firmware upgrade to solve this issue. On the Sony website you can enter your model # and serial # to see if you TV is affected. If so, it is easy to have done and may be free from Sony. It sounds like the issue they described in the writeup on the required formware update. I had mine done within few months of when i bought it (purchased in Dec 2005) and it has been working flawlessly since.

Good luck!
