How to Replace catridge epson stylus c43sx

Are any of the cartridges empty or not? Always replace the cartridges with the printer on.

If you do not have any low ink alerts, you need to enter the maintenance mode. Press the Maintenance button (has both an ink drop and a paper symbol) and the Power button at the same time. Then open the black printer cover (lift up).

If any cartridges are low or out, just lift up the printer cover. Then press the maintenance button. The cartridge carrier will move the empty cartridge to the replacement position. (If both cartridges are out or you are using the Maintenance mode, the cartridge carrier will move the black cartridge to the replacement position.) Lift up the cartridge clamp (at the back of the carrier for current cartridge to replace; it will rotate towards you.). Then lift the cartridge up; dispose of the empty cartridge. Unwrap your new cartridge and remove the yellow tape (do not touch the IC chip or remove the other tape from the cartridge). Push the new cartridge straight down into the carrier.

Close the cartridge clamp and press the maintenance button to move the color cartridge to the replacement position. Repeat the cartridge replacement steps above for that cartridge. Close the printer cover. Then press the Maintenance button again and wait while the printer charges the ink system.

For pictures to go with the steps, see http://support2.epson.net/manuals/english/ij/stylusc43/REF_G/INK_1.HTM .

I hope this helps.

I have replaced black ink cartridge 73N message on screen says Error i press ok to proceed message goes back saying replace ink cartridge?

The main problem in using the latest Epson printers, is the ink replacements. Ink cartridges like 73N has its own ink reseter (the little chip in front of the cartridge). Once you replaced the ink without using the right procedures, for example you have a 10% remaining ink level on one of the cartridge, and you replaced it without using the setup menu and selecting the replace ink cartridge, even though the cartridge is new, the printer will read the replaced cartridge as a 10% ink level cartridge. When the remaining 10%, drops to 0%, your cartridge will read as an empty cartridge. The chip on the cartridge is registered as an empty cartridge.
-try to replace the ink reseter or try to clean the cartridge chip then put back the ink.

What is the replacement printer for HP Laser Jet

This document provides information about replacing the print cartridge for the HP LaserJet 1010 printer series, including life expectancy and replacement instructions. Print cartridge life expectancy The life of the print cartridge depends on the amount of toner that your print jobs require. When printing text on letter/A4-size paper at five percent coverage, the print cartridge lasts an average of 2,000 pages. This assumes that you set the print density to three and disable EconoMode. (These are the default settings.) See Ordering supplies for information on ordering replacement print cartridges. Changing the print cartridge Follow the below instructions to change the print cartridge:
  1. Open the print cartridge door, and remove the old print cartridge. See the recycling information inside the print cartridge box. Figure 1: Removing old print cartridge c00028312.gif CAUTION: To prevent damage, do not expose the print cartridge to light. Cover it with a piece of paper.
  2. Remove the new print cartridge from the packaging, and gently shake it from side to side to distribute the toner evenly inside the cartridge. Figure 2: Gently shaking new print cartridge c00028313.gif
  3. Pull the tab until all the tape is removed from the print cartridge. Put the tab in the print cartridge box to return for recycling. Figure 3: Removing tape from print cartridge c00035442.gif

Our xerox M118 showing an error"replace drum cartridge'can any one help me?Plizzz

Hello, Your Xerox has two cartridges - one is the drum cartridge and the other is a toner cartridge. Please check the following I've researched from your user guide:

Replacing the Drum Cartridge
The drum cartridge is a customer replaceable unit. After approximately 55,000 copies/
prints, the machine will display a warning message before the drum reaches the end of
life. Order a replacement cartridge now to insure continuous operation.

Country Part Number for the drum cartridge replacement
All countries 13R589

Removing the Old Drum Cartridge
1. Pull the front cover towards you to open it.
2. Open Tray 5 (bypass tray) if necessary, and then open Cover A while lifting up
the release lever.
3. Lift up the colored lever, and slide the drum cartridge out until you can lift the
handle on top of the cartridge.
4. Hold the handle and remove the cartridge from the machine.
NOTE: When replacing the drum cartridge, make sure that the new cartridge is the
correct one specified for the machine.

Recycling the Drum Cartridge
The drum cartridge is designed to be re-manufactured. To recycle used drum
cartridges, return them to Xerox in the original packaging. Return labels are included
with each new cartridge.

Inserting the New Drum Cartridge
1. Remove the new drum cartridge from the box.
2. Undo the sealing tape and carefully pull out in the direction of the arrow to
remove the black protective sheet from the cartridge.
3. Place the cartridge in position and, using the handle, slide it into the
machine until it clicks.
4. Pull out the cartridge tape completely without breaking it.
5. Push the cartridge again so that it is correctly placed.
6. Close Cover A until it latches and then close Tray 5 (bypass tray).
7. Close the front cover.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Replacing Drum Catridge

Hello, Here are the steps involved in replacing the drum assembly as copied from a users manual:

DRUM CARTRIDGE REPLACEMENT
The useful life of the drum cartridge is approximately 18,000 copies. When the internal counter reaches approximately 17,000 copies, the drum replacement required indicator will light up indicating that replacement of the drum cartridge will be needed soon. When the indicator begins to blink, the unit will stop operating until the cartridge is replaced. Replace the drum cartridge at this time.

1 Remove the TD cartridge (Toner Cartridge). Hold the drum cartridge handle and
gently pull the cartridge out. Dispose of the old drum cartridge in accordance with local regulations.
3 Remove the new drum cartridge from the protective bag and remove the protective cover from the cartridge. Then gently install the new drum cartridge.

When closing the covers, be sure to close the front cover securely and then close the side cover. If the covers are closed in the wrong order, the covers may be damaged. Do not remove the protective cover on the drum portion (black paper) of
a new drum cartridge before use. The cover protects the drum against external light.
Do not touch the surface of the drum (green portion) of the cartridge. Doing so may cause smudges on the copies.

4 Gently install the TD cartridge. Close the front cover and then the side cover by pressing the round projections near the side cover open button. The drum
replacement required indicator will go out and the start indicator will light up.
