Lg ht302 everything works except it wont play sound through the speakers when connected to the receiver

This device have many spekers..... none of them works??? do you have volume up??? check if you have no mute button depressed....
check if all speakers are connected to proper connectors....
check users manual, there are always pars, that describing what to do, when problem like that appear... try factory reset

Receiver wont play sound
Be sure to check all connections on the rear. Are both channels bad? Also if it has preamp output or rec out, u can check to see if those work with a external amp of some kind. Good luck. Let me know if you need more suggestions.

How do i connect my lg42lh2000 to my lg ht302 receiver so that the sound from the tv can be heard through the recivers speekers
you will need:
rf modulator.
coax cable.
video cables.
run audio cables from yourmusic source to the reciever that should work but if your music source is away from the reciever then get an rf modulator and put your music source by your reciever and the put thevideo cable from your music source to the rf modulator and tthenrun a coax cable to the tv and then run the audio cables from the music source to the input on the reciever. for example i have my direct tv box sound running through my reciever and speakers, and to have musicfrom the direct tv box going through my speakers i put the audio cables from my direct tv box into the audio input on the reciever and then the video cable into the rf modulator and then from the rf modulator i ran a coax cable to my tv then i had my sound from the direct tv box going through my reciever and the video on the tv.
plz tell me if this works :)\

I have 2 good qaulity heybrook speakers and have tried everything to connect them properly such that both play sound when the tv / dvd is on. Both speakers work perfectly one at a time and both work...
You're guessing. That is exactly the wrong thing to do. Get the manual.

"[D]vd 6 channel input" is for a 6-channel analog input as the name implies. I doubt you even have a source that HAS 6 analog channel outputs.

Speakers are OUTPUTS of the amplifers' speaker posts. Any one can work ANYwhere.

And that bi-wire capability, IF the speakers have it - pretend it isn't there.

Well, if it's only the CD doing it...

If other sources make the sounds, look at something common like the receiver.

Speakers that aren't physically damaged or overdriven don't 'create' sounds that are not present in the amplified signal.

I have an LG dvd home theater system model no: HT302, plays everything bt no sound. So i've been tring to get to solve the problem bt still nothing comes right, so now i'm looking for pc board for these...
common the capacitors in the switch mode, use quality 105Degree smps caps.
the faulty caps are usually swollen, replace all while you have it open.

OK. For all you regular Joe's like me here's the fix--plain and simple! I have Dish Networks HD receiver, an LG Home Theater System (LHB953) and an LG HD Television - although I suspect this applies for most LG TV-to-LG Audio Systems used in combination with a HD TV). My problem lied within the LG to LG setting known as SIMPLINK which tries to "auto-configure" everything between LG to LG devices.

Do this to make your HD TV (using Dish/DirecTV) play it's HD video display from the satellite provider but play the audio over the LG surround sound speakers:

1. Plug a HDMI cable from your satelite receiver's set-top-box to your HD TV. This will carry your HD "video" ONLY. Click "Input" on the TV remote until the HD video signal shows your desired TV channel from your satellite provider.

2. Plug an HD Optical cable (the one with the red laser) from your LG HTS (Home Theater System) to your satellite box. This will carry your HD "audio" ONLY.

3. This is the magic everyone seems to be overlooking. On the LG TV remote, go into the menu options and disable SIMPLINK by setting SIMPLINK=OFF. This feature allows the video and audio signals to be split over 2 different ports: HD video goes over the HDMI cable and the audio to go over the HD Optical cable.

Wireless speakers
You should have two pieces for your wireless rear speakers setup. A. a wireless card inserted behind the all in one receiver. B. the receiving box that will connect to the 2 rear speakers.Also,you should not have any obstacles to block off the line of site for the rear speaker receiving box to the wireless card.
Best way to test it is too simply leave the rear speakers connected to the rear speakers receiving box on the floor near the a/v receiver with dvd player built in.Play a dvd and see if you have sound coming out from the rear.
