Good Morning Mass manana,
I see that you are looking to reset your Electrolux washer due to the fact that the "Start/Pause" button does not appear, and you can't start your laundry. You can reset this appliance. What you will need to do is either unplug it or you can shut the power off at the circuit breaker. When you do this you will need to leave it off for at least 2-3 minutes. Cut the power back on, start any cycle. If you are still having trouble not being able to start the washer, I suggest either contact the manufacturer or your local authorized technician. I hope this is helpful.
-Best Regards-

Is the door firmly closed? Open the door and close it firmly. If the pause button is really stuck, you will need to repair/replace the board.

The error message "Err" usually indicates that the wash program and option are not compatible. 40 degrees and 900 rpm Spin should be o.k.. I would try another wash program with no special options and see if the problem goes away.

Washers - Resetting Electronic Controls on a Washer
If there is a pause in the washer cycle, the controls will lock up. The pause can occur because of a power failure or it was put in the test mode at the factory.
Also, if the washer was stopped before the cycle was complete or the consumer has pushed the stop/pause button to temporarily stop the cycle and the cycle is not reset. Over a period of 24 hours, the washer will pump out and spin, but will stay in the final spin.
To correct the situation, shut off the circuit breaker for 30 seconds or unplug the washer, then turn the timer knob around and back to any position other than final spin. Verify the water is turned on and restore power. This should resolve the issue.

Check the lid switch and its actuator on the lid. The pause you're getting is likely an open lid sensed by the washer control. Also try to push and pull the inner tub up and down a few times - if I remember correctly these washers have a floating basket, which engages the gears when there is enough weight inside. If there is not enough clothes it may not wash correctly (I don't remember exactly, but try it anyway, what do you have to loose? ;) ).
