Remove the knob by pushing in the small pin on the edge of the knob shaft. Then use a screwdriver in the small inset on the edge of the handle cover to pop the cover off. Tighten the 2 screws under the cover, replace parts.

How do I tighten my Weiser front door handle

Depends on the model. Usually there are 2 screws behind the trim plate that you need to tighten. The handle may need to be removed, to take off the trim plate so you can get at the screws. If that's the case the handle will have a small pin on the shaft someplace. Push the pin in and pull the handle off. Then carefully pry the trim plate off, tighten the screws and reinstall everything.

I have 3 door knobs on outside doors that are loose and need to be tightened. the knobs have come completely off sometimes when we go out the doors. how do I tighten the knobs so they are not loose?

On the inside side of the door knob, there is a decorative plate. Depending on which model door knobs you have, it is held on with a "set-screw" that might require an allen-wrench (looks like an 8-sided tool; usually in an L-shape), or just simply a screw driver, to loosen and remove it. Once you take the decorative plate off, there will be two very obvious screws that hold both sides (inside and outside) of the door knob together. Tighten these screws to tighten your knobs, then put the decorative plates back on again.

If it is not the OLD style door knob, tighten the two screws next to the knob. If that does not fix it it will probably need repleced.

The driver's side outside door handle is loose, toyota celica '95

I assume that the entire handle unit is loose in the body work of the door.
The interior door trim will need to be removed to access the inside of the door to fix the loose handle.

Do not attempt his yourself unless you have some experience in this area.
Take the vehicle to the nearest reputable auto body repair shop and they can easily fix it for you. There could be a breakage on the retaining system on the handle or the retainers may just need tightening.

Typically door handles which have not been subject to damage or abuse will not usually loosen like this. It's possible the door was damaged and the panel repaired and repainted at some stage. If so the door handle may have been removed and refitted in a sloppy manner.

I have a 2008 Honda Pilot. Today the rear tailgate light come on, and all the interior lights came on and stayed on. I got out and slammed the rear door to make sure it was closed. I then continued to...

the light switch nut holding the tial gate light on is loose or the wires are loose and touching. It is a easy fix look for the contact plate for the switch and see if the knob is loose tighten it up. if you don't know where it is then go to a partssstore and ask them they can show you where it is located. Since it is new It should be covered under warrenty so call your dealership and ask if it is a free repair.

You are right. The only way to repair this is by replacing the complete door assembly. If under a year it should be covered.
