Patches need them

It sounds like you have accidentally set your Zoom 606 pedal to the "AL" patch. The "AL" patch is a special patch that allows you to access the pedal's internal settings and make adjustments.
To turn patches on, you will need to exit the "AL" patch and select a regular patch. Here's how to do it:

1. Press and hold the "Program" button until the display shows "AL."
2. Use the "Value" knob to select "P0."
3. Press and hold the "Program" button again until the display shows "P0."
4. Use the "Value" knob to select the desired patch.
5. Press the "Program" button to exit the patch selection screen.

Your pedal should now be in the patch you selected. You can use the "Value" knob to adjust the settings for the patch as desired.
If you are unable to access the patch selection screen, or if the pedal is not functioning properly, you may need to reset the pedal to its factory default settings. To do this, press and hold the "Program" and "Value" knobs simultaneously for about three seconds until the display shows "F0." This will reset the pedal to its default settings. You can then follow the steps above to select a patch and make any necessary adjustments.

it's long time since the last post here, anyway I have a problem with this game's patch,
I want to install latest patch which is 1.4
it's said for installing that, these versions are needed :
1.0.2 , 1.0.3 , 1.1.0 , 1.2.1 , 1.2.2 , 1.3.0
I have downloaded and installed 1.1 and 1.2.1
but couldn't install 1.3
seems 1.2.2 is needed, but couldn't find it anywhere, can anyone

1. Step 1 Locate the tear in the liner. You may need to get into the pool and examine the surface wearing swimming goggles.
   
2. Step 2 Read the patching kit instructions thoroughly before starting the job.
   
3. Step 3 Clean debris from the area around the tear using a rag.
   
4. Step 4 Use scissors to cut a patch for the hole. Use the vinyl from the repair kit to for the patch. Be sure it is at least 2 inches in diameter and will cover the entire hole.
   
5. Step 5 Use applicator brush that comes with kit to apply adhesive to the back of the vinyl patch. Do not apply too much adhesive or the patch will not cure properly.
   
6. Step 6 Fold the patch in half. The adhesive should be on the inside of the fold.
   
7. Step 7 Enter the pool water and relocate the area in need of patching. If hole is accessible from the outside of the pool, there is no need to get into water.
   
8. Step 8 Hold patch underwater as close to the hole as possible. Unfold patch while underwater and apply to the hole.
   
9. Step 9 Press the patch firmly while smoothing it from the center to the outside edges. This will help remove any excess air bubbles or water from under the patch surface.
   
10. Step 10 Let patch cure as indicated on repair kit instructions.
    

Hi Joe,

How are you connecting to the port in the back of your router? if you have crimped a male plug on to some UTP cable then this may be the problem. UTP cable has a solid condutor and needs a different male crimp plug than UTP patch cable, which has stranded conductors.

I suggest you connect the UTP cable between the office and the loft to an RJ45 wall or surface socket in the office, use a terminating tool designed for the make and type of outlet you use, i.e. if using an ADC socket use the ADC termination tool. The sockets are designed for solid cable and have a colour code for you to follow. Then use a factory terminated patch cord between this socket and the router port.

I assume you have terminated the cable from the office onto one of the patch panel ports and want to use a patch cord to patch from this incoming socket to the sockets that are terminated onto the cables going to your other rooms. If you have access to a laptop connect this directly into the router port and ensure you have an internet connection, then plug the patch cord connecting the loft port into the router and take the laptop into the loft and ensure you have a connection at the incoming port on the patch panel. If you get the connnection there then use a factory patch cord to patch to a room you would like a connection in and then take the laptop to that outlet and ensure you have a connection.

If you want to run outlets in multiple rooms without re-patching every time then you will need to have an active switch in your loft and connect the port from the office to this and then patch out of the switch ports to the various room outlets.

This is from the official websites support forum. Many people have had issues letting the game patch it self. Follow these instructions and you can patch it outside of the game.


Firestorm has no patches available. Tiberian Sun. however, does have one. There are three ways to patch the game.

• You can run the auto-patch program.
  1. Click on the Start button.
  2. Select All Programs.
  3. Select the Westwood folder.
  4. Click on the game you want to update.
  5. Select Auto-Update.
  6. The game should now automatically patch.
     
• If you play online, through Westwood's servers, you will receive the latest update of the game (if one is available) automatically, each time you log on.
  
• If you still cannot get the patches you can retrieve them from our FTP site.
  1. Click here to access the ftp site.
  2. Click on the patch needed:
     • TS203 for Tiberian Sun
     • There is a two letter code at the end of the patch this is representative of the language of the patch.
       • ES : Spanish
       • DE : German
       • EN : English
       • FR : French
  3. Select Save in the window that pops up.
  4. In the Save As window make sure Desktop is selected in the Save in: section at the top of the window.
  5. Click Save and the patch should save to your desktop.
  6. Once it is saved to the desktop, double-click on the patch's icon to install it.

Initially, I tried checking with Microsoft and I was informed that "The Knowledge Base (KB) Article You Requested Is Currently Not Available" pertaining to your required KB959247. Sorry.

However, I checked further and was informed that the actual message is:
"The Windows Vista operating system is not fully up-to-date, and theKB929547 Vista Patch is not present. If you install AVG on your systemwithout the KB929547 Vista Patch, you might experience significantsystem slowdown and internet connectivity issues."

Should this be the case, then what you probably need is KB929547 Vista Patch.

is it not installing,try to browse setup.exe or install file for the game,right click and choose run as administrator..it should be installed w/o any problems,or if you were able to install this and the game just crashes upon playing it,you need to put it to compatibility mode,To do this search for freespace.exe (Probably in C:\Program Files\Volition\", right click and select the "compatibility" tab. Check the box that says "run this program in compatibility mode for" and select "Windows 98"

Simple, most unlikely solution: Try to download patch from microsoft website and install it.

Other Solution: Go to trained professional, (geeksquad or firedog), they will install it more simply and correctly.

Installation of software by them is probably like 30 bucks.
