Lite on burner will write but cant read

Now I LIKE Liteon very much. THey never give me any trouble and as long as you keep the lense clean, they burn for years upon years to come. Okay, so it CAN write, but can't read? Very odd indeed. I would strongly suggest first buying a CD Lense Cleaner disc. Don't be cheap. Get Memorex or Scotch 3M. I would Suggest Memorex because the brushes on THAT disc are SPECIALLY-designed to clean the lense, but NOT to damage it. Next, try installing Nero Ultra Edition and do a Burn-in or a Read/Write test with a CLEAN CD or DVD and see if it will tell you the Read/write data rate. If the lense is just a BIT dirty, it WILL give you those kind of problems.
