Wont play. JVC PC-RXC50

Many cassette decks employ separate belts for fast forward and rewind. It could be that one of them has come off.

Disc is dirty or the pickup lens has dirt on it. Needs to be seen by a Technician to resolve.

All you are required to do is to insert the disc into the player or changer and then set the player to the CD function.
When the selected disc is loaded, then it would play and you can control the tracks.

If you have the remote..load all the discs you wish to play..press the cd play button...then if you wan't to play the discs in order press the "continue" button..then the cd play button...if you want to shuffle the discs...select the "random: button on you remote....I hope the was helpful.

It is possible that the loading belt needs to be replaced, or the timing gears are out of sink, either way it must be taken apart to find the problem, sometimes I find the gears ware out causing the unit to lock up. When you hit the eject button do you hear a motor running? that should be the sound of the loading mechanism trying to eject the tray.

HI, this is optical lens assembly failuer. you will need to send this unit in for a optical lens replacement procedure. this procedure is costly and, you will need to ship it as well to the manufacture for this repair.

The actual issue is the lens is unable to track due to the assembly failuer(load/tracking motor malfunction).

You may be able to contact a local tech that will be able to order this assembly and repair it locally for you. this is unlikely but, its cheaper than sending it off.

Either the disc or the player likely need a good cleaning. Clean the disc with a soft cloth, clean the player with a good cleaner disc.

The JVC DR-MV1S DVD Recorder / VCR Combo does not suppport DVD+R, only DVD-R, -RW etc.
At least mine only supports these formats, as when I first bought mine, I got some blank DVD's they were DVD+R.
I recorded a movie onto one on my PC, then tried playing it in the JVC unit... no go!
Instruction manual (available for D/load online) proved to me that I could not play +R disks!!

Are you getting error messages? If you hold down the pause button for 10 seconds on that model , you should get one.
