You have short circuits inside the TV, the AC goes into shutdown when it senses too much current being draw. Post some pictures inside the TV if you can, wee need to look for short circuits, another thing, you bought new AC adapter with the same voltage and current rating, right? http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor_plague
Ur high voltage is dead, the FBT the big block of plastic with a red wire hook to a board. That thing is dead.U know how to solders,Website, Tv repair World.com buy the part.
if you've tried 2 other super nes' and still no picture and sound.. don't you think it's the "yellow, red, white" cables that might be an issue? doesn't sound like a power cord is the issue at all if it's getting power to the "red light".... get a new y,r,w cable (sry.. tired and forget the name)
the red rings can be caused by any number of things from a faulty power pack on the suppply cord to a loose av cable from back of x box. but the main cause of the "Red Ring of Death" is overheating. On the main pcb inside the xbox, you will see 1 or 2 small micoprocessors,
depending on when u bought ur box and what version it is,
when the unit heats up the pcb bends causing the processors to lift off the board and loose contact, you can either try mounting the pcb at diff points so it doesnt bend, or the longer term fix is apply some extra heat sink compound between the processor and the pcb and re solder the processor to the pcb. anyway. good luck.
it depends on what signal your sending to the tv. red and white are usually sound and yellow is picture or AV. you may need to select the input on your TV to recive a picture. Does this help?
I see this in my store all the time. The Red Ring of Death fix will fix your problem temporarily (meaning anywhere from 1 hour to a couple months), but temporary is the only thing you will get. The best thing to do is save up for a new one.
I would reccomend checking both the TV's input jacks and the Xbox's output slot. If you got a new AV cable, then the odds that that cable are faulty are slim.
Try your new AV cord on a friends 360 if you have a friend with one. See if it works.
I found a microsoft troubleshooting Web Article that may help you solve your problem.
