Calibration my phone got thrown and my screen is on i can cut it on and off but cant unlock or use the home key

for window phones
1. Press the "Home" key and press "Start." Use the directional pad to highlight "Settings," then press the center or "Enter" button.
2. Use the directional pad to select the System tab. Select "Screen," then press the center or "Enter" button. Select "Align Screen."
3. Using your smartphone's stylus, tap the crosshairs as they appear on your screen. Do this for as many as appear, until the calibration tool finishes. Your screen is now properly calibrated.
for Android phone
4. Press the "Home" button or capacitive area, then press "Menu." Tap "Settings."
5. Tap "Language and keyboard." Tap "Keyboard settings." Tap "Tutorial" and go through the steps that appear on your screen.
6. Once this is finished, turn your phone off and on again. Your keyboard has been adjusted, which activates a re-calibration of the capacitive touchscreen. (Capacitive screens are technically far more accurate that resistive, and so a full calibration tool is not included with Android phones.)

If the touch screen of your phone keeps working, then it means the sensor board of the phone is bad and need to be replaced, if you can access the menu of the phone, then you need to calibrate the screen first.

To calibrate the screen, you need to go to the menu, then you select settings, then you select calibrate screen then you follow the rest of the instruction from there on.

If calibrating the screen does not help you, then it means you have to fix the sensor board of the phone, if your information from the keypad reaches the screen, then it means you simply need to replace the touch sensor board of the phone.

you can do a restore on it. it will wipe the whole handset. turn off the phone then hold power and the home key together.

once the phone lights up you can release the power button but continue to hold the home key. you will then see a usb cable pop up.

insert your usb cable open up itunes and when it tells you to restore to a newer version say yes. that will erase everything on that phone. If you are unlocked for tmobile it will wipe the unlock and cant be unlocked as of yet.

Hold the home key and power key ..... it should do a soft reset. now if still it doesnt work then try to check if the screen has the touch sense..... because if the screen sense is still there then it would have loosed its calibration . which will be ok if you do a restore from your itunes.

i took off my screen cover and put it back on and touchscreen start back working

put a blank file called welcome.not (make using notepad) onto the removable storage card this will bypass the startup screen and mean it does not jam into this look on startup

down load a file phm registry edit... (search on internet) put the cab onto the phone... in stall.. and run

set the sensitivity on this to 20, you can then calibrate the screen... you can try stepping it to 18 16 14 and 10..

this will cure the problem

The fastest way is to be on the slide-lock screen & hold the side volume button in the Up position until
"Press volume down key to check" comes up onscreen. This may or may not work on all firmware versions
on the current i9, but works on most. Make sure to hold the button firmly in the Up position. You will first
see the normal volume speaker icon show onscreen and the volume rise, but just keep holding it Up, and
eventually you should see the pop-up box noted earlier. The moment you see that pop up onscreen,
immediately press the side volume button in the down position. A white calibration screen should now
show & you can calibrate the touch screen using the stylus. Try to tap as close to the center of the little
pulsating icons as possible, as this will more accurately calibrate your touch screen. If the calibration
screen didn't come up using that method, then you can get to it from the Main menu screen.
Select "Settings", then select "Pen calibration", & follow the previous instruction.

my i9 phone does not apply the touch screen anymore and the pen calibration i cant click on screen . when i try to calibrate it keeps on the same infomation of "touch where the point is , left, center and right.
