That means this won't work on a Power PC. Drive should still work.

SOURCE: Need help formatting new hard drive , Thx in

The LaCie hard drive should have come with a CD. If you pop that CD in, then their directions make more sense:
1: Put in the LaCie CD
2: Double-Click on "My Computer" to open windows explorer
3: right below the "Local Disk (C:)" you should have a LaCie icon for your CD-rom -- double-click this icon for their setup assistant.

If you don't have a CD-ROM, you can still use the drive but it's more involved.

1: right-click on "My Computer" and select the option "Manage"
2: On the left panel of Computer Management, you should have an option "Disk Management" under the heading "Storage" - click on Disk Management
note: The Disk Manager shows your current disks in the top right panel, and ALL disks in the bottom right panel. You might need to resize the window to see them all.
3: In the bottom right panel, find the grey-ed out box that corresponds to your new disk, and right-click on it. One of the options will be to format it.
4: After formatting, if it doesn't automatically come up with a drive letter, you can once again right-click on it in the bottom right panel of the Disk Manager and assign it a drive letter.

Once it has a drive letter, Windows should see the drive and you should be good to go!

Could be a Security or firewall in your PC ; or a previous registry that is corrupted with this same software that you have , better off getting a Registry cleaner first. CCleaner.com

Ceccmdll.dll cec-MAIN.EXE HAS STOPPED WORKING

Have you just installed a new security app such as Kaspersky?

If so you could so allow CEC_main.exe in the firewall which should cure the problem.
